Server was great. Food was just ok. Marsala did not taste like a genuine Marsala, lasagna wasn't great. Steak was 89$ over cooked and looked boiled not grilled. Broccolini and Brussel sprouts were great. Prosciutto pizza was good. Charged for bread. Cesar salad was pretty descent. Would not go back as the main dishes were meh.

This place looked so amazing on the Instagram post. I remember I went on a date here about 6 years ago. Watching the pasta being made was super cool. The restaurant looks classy and high end. The food is not so good. The server was strange. I ordered a drink from the black book and then they said it wasn't available and to pick another drink. The waitress kept coming back to ask me the same question. Write it down... I tried to order a Harvey Walbanger like I used to drink in college but it tasted only like liquorice. I asked for parmigiano for my bread, since I am used to having olive oil, balsamic vinegar and some seasonings with my bread. She told me to order the chicken Parmesan to get the cheese.... What would I do with the chicken after I scrape the cheese off to use for my dish.... Next, the patrons that were seated next to our table claimed to know the chef and kept eyeing my friend and looking at her up and down. The female kept pointing out something at our table. They were being loud so we started talking loud about racism in society to match their level of chatter. All in all, I would not go there again. San Francisco's The Stinkin Rose was way better than this restaurant. I would definitely use this restaurant for a comp business deal dinner. But for personal dates, not recommended.

truly a great experience! my husband and i came to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn't have chosen a better place! from the service to the food, everything was amazing! we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed a birthday dinner at il Giallo. Cesar salad was excellent, as was the fried calamari appetizer. For our meals we enjoyed the veal chop parmesan, the flounder special, tortelli and the chicken marsala. We will be back!

Excellent food. Attentive service. Reasonable prices. Beware - the garlic bread and bread has a significant charge. This was not mentioned. Highly recommend this place !

This was our first visit and will definitely return. The food was excellent, and portions were ample. Greeted upon entering with a smile. The service was friendly and attentive.

Birthday dinner for my husband. Enjoyed the evening. Food was good, but I was a bit surprised at the Caesar salad - three small romaine leaves for 15.00. Everything else was good and well presented, but did not knock my socks off.

What a wonderful crew, especially Sharon and Aldy at the bar. The homemade pasta dishes are unbeatable. Aaron’s wine selection is inspired and delicious.

I used to consider this one of my favorite restaurants, but my most recent visit on 8/20 was extremely disappointing. I ordered the shrimp appetizer, which had a slight fishy smell and didn’t look quite right. I didn’t say anything at the time, but the next day I was very sick and strongly suspect it was food poisoning.

Out of concern, I called the restaurant the next day to let them know they may want to double-check the shrimp. The hostess put me on hold to get the manager, but came back saying he was “too busy” and would call me back. Unfortunately, I never received a call.

I’ve referred many people to this restaurant in the past, but this lack of care and accountability from management was incredibly disappointing. I will not be returning.

Outstanding food and service here - we arrived early around 5pm for dinner and sat at the bar. The bartender was very good, attentive and friendly. The focaccia bread to start was great. Then the veal parmigiana was amazing with a side of spaghetti with marinara sauce. We took home the dessert - the Italian donuts .... Bomboloni? Fantastic!! Highly recommend.

When I tell you the Agnolotti, BGE roasted duck & fontina filled, brown butter, sage and pecans is is amazing, I am not exaggerating!

Ask for LuLu. She will exceed your expectations.
