This was our first time it was ok. I ordered the turkey wings, the waiter said it came with rice and two sides. When I received my food there was no rice. I had to ask her several about the rice. The turkey and sides (cabbage and sweet potatoes) were very good, however the gravy on the turkey was very salty. My friend ordered thr shrimp and grits and couldn't eat the shrimp, they had a funny taste. So that was money wasted. I would try them again just to see if it was an off day.

We ate here this past weekend and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner and got to learn he is from NY and plans to bring his soul food restaurant to Alabama. I laughed in my head when he said this because he’s from NY and he’s wants to bring a soul food restaurant to Huntsville AL where we have plenty of great places to eat. He started us out with a cornbread appetizer. Nothing special, but it was the best i had. Fluffy and sweet like pound cake. My main corse was Lamb, collard greens and Mac n cheese. The absolute best ever! Ruth Chris doesn’t compare to his flavor. HIS FOOD WILL SHUT DOWN YOUR FAVORITE SOUL FOOD RESTAURANT. AL wants your food sir ‼️

Opentable Diner

Great restaurant that I will surely visit again. I do think the the shrimp and grits needs a little more flair. But overall great food.

This restaurant did not disappoint! The food was great and the restaurant vibe was amazing! We enjoyed the music (all clean) that was played for V-Day. I ordered the chicken and waffles which were delicious🤩 We will definitely go back for brunch next week.

Waited about 35 mins for food, and when it did come out it was only a partial order. After we completed our meal (15 mins later) the waffles came out. No refill on waters. Salmon and grits was good and so was the shrimp and grits. I give the food 4 stars service wasn't so great.

I went with a friend for lunch and while it was empty, the food was great. I got fried pork chops and my buddy got the fried chicken, and both of us found them very tasty. I look forward to going again and trying some of the other choices.

Loved it. During my visit to Atlanta, I was able to dine in for dinner here. The food was good but our server Neicy made the experience 10x better. She was very attentive, fun, patient and hard-working. It’s hard to find good establishments that are the total package as far as good food and great service! I will be coming again and recommending to others. ?

I had the pleasure of dining at Magic Soul Food recently, and I must say, the experience was elevated by the outstanding service from Neicy. From the moment we were seated, she made us feel welcome with her warm, friendly demeanor and attentiveness. Neicy truly knows how to make customers feel special — she was professional, efficient, and always had a smile on her face.

Not only was she knowledgeable about the menu, helping us navigate some of the best options, but her genuine passion for the food and the restaurant. She went above and beyond, ensuring our drinks were always topped off and checking in at just the right moments.

Magic Soul Food is truly one of the best restaurants in Atlanta! I hosted my husband’s birthday celebration there, and it was an unforgettable experience. The service was exceptional, the food was incredibly delicious, and the ambiance created the perfect atmosphere for our event. Highly recommend!

Decided to take my aunt to brunch. To start, they had no water. They had no tea and they had no coffee. I had to bring two water bottles from my car. I ordered a ginger ale in which the ice had a dead fly on it.
If Niecey is your waitress, ask for another server immediately. Her customer service was terrible. She seldom came to check on us. I had to ask what appeared to be the busboy for the check and to go boxes. The busboy had the best service there.
Although the food was tasty, It was not exceptional. I could have made the French toast myself. They added the syrup on the French toast before it was brought out to you and didn’t give extra syrup With the French toast so that you can put it on yourself to your liking.
I had “smothered” turkey wings, Mac and cheese, and yams. I also ordered the French toast. Instead of charging the turkey wings as a meal with the two sides, she charged every single thing separately. The smothered turkey wings came with no gravy. They’re just called smothered turkey wings for the menu. Niecey told me and my aunt that gravy was an additional cost for “smothered” turkey wings, however the guest to the side of us told me that she did not pay extra for her gravy on her turkey wings. And everyone knows smothered means gravy. Another waitress told us that every server does something different for their table. This didn’t make sense to me being that this was one establishment.
On the way out, I heard Niecey talking about me at the bar. When I started to tell her about her own customer service, she yelled to never come back again. No one could pay me to come back to this establishment.
