This is my favorite location. I drive across town to come here. This is the second time I walked up to the counter and the lady does not acknowledge me. Even if she’s not working the register is it too much to at least greet the customer? She doesn’t say “be right with you” or anything and it’s really weird. It left me feeling like next time just go somewhere else. Food is great, service not always as good.

So this was our first experience, even though we have a few spots in our hometown. I probably would've felt better eating this at home instead of out of town.We ordered the roasted wings, medium House Special Pizza and the kids pepperoni flatbread with lemonade...the lemonade tastes like egg water was used to mix it so I ordered a fruit punch instead and that was better. The wings were good but not the best for roasted. The pizza came and did not look like what I expected. It had sliced regular tomatoes instead of smaller roast or smoked tomatoes on it. The meats were gathered in the middle of the pie instead of spread throughout so that was a double negative. That wasn't as bad even though it was not appealing but the taste was very bland. It had no flavor for the amount of fresh ingredients used. I was very shocked and upset about that. Babygirl flatbread looked good and apparently it was good because she was eating with no talking in between.I am not sure if I'll try this place again although I am a fan of fresh cut ingredients over anytime but seasoning goes a long way in my book. I love to eat so the way it tastes has to be on point for me to give a good review.The waitress was a younger girl who was doing a lot of running around and that sucked because she didn't give good service. I don't like my food to taste poorly and the service to be just as poor so yeah, this location was a flop!There was a table with 4 girls who clearly had not seen each other or had been drinking and were extremely Loud which increased my attitude for the worst. It was time to leave after the upteenth time of them screaming and laughing so I wouldn't lose my cool.

We had a little bit of a mix up with and ended up at Matt's location on Roswell Rd. unexpectedly -- with close to 50 guests. The way he and his team handled our group was so smooth and seamless you'd have never known we had showed up at the wrong location.The service was incredible, warm, and friendly and you can never beat Mellow Mushroom's delicious pizzas. We had a great time and will definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: We love Mellow Mushroom for their ability to accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions. It makes ordering for a group so easy!

When they shut down the original location several years ago, I had such a hard time going into the roomy, spacious, clean new location. Where's the grumpy staff? These were things you came to know and love at Mellow Mushroom Sandy Springs.Fear not, the vibe may be different, but the food and its quality is still the same. Best pizza in Atlanta, I'll challenge anyone who says different. I can honestly say, I'll go in there and order anything and will like it. Have you tried their mushroom soup?Not a big fan of the new branding, but that's a whole other story.If only I could get one of those outdoor gnomes...

The staff are friendly and always make us feel very welcome. Shout out to the GM Matt for creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere. Haven't been in years. So glad we went back. Awesome drinks (fresh--not from a mix), side salad was perfect & the pizzas were soooo good.
