We used to come here a lot and last time we went they were out of everything we wanted. We gave it another chance tonight, when i called the lady on the phone was very rude and dismissive and the photo attached is supposed to be Bang Bang Shrimp, yes this was after we ate the only 4 shrimp that were in this order and the rest looks like straight fryer scraps. Very disappointing

Our waitress was good but stretched thin, I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was overcooked, dry, no salt nor pepper and the fries were cheap and oily it absolutely grossed me out. our. I'll never return.

I've visited North River Tavern a few times to have dinner and participate in Team Trivia. My go to entree is the chicken fingers and fries, which is pretty good.
i came here on a friday night and valentina was my server. she was attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, and so sweet and bubbly. i would come back for the service alone. i enjoyed the bang bang shrimp. i do wish the drinks were a tad bit stronger but still good! thank you north river tavern.

Ordered off Uber eats, person who picked up my order never delivered it, instead of cancelling my order they kept telling each of the 4 drivers who came afterwards that they couldn’t remake the food, so I could actually receive it. Waited for 2 hours for their incompetency. Do better. use your brain next time and cancel the order maybe ????

We were having a really great time. It was my birthday and everyone there was super sweet. My friend and I were dancing on the floor and set our drinks down on a chair while we were doing that. The DJ came over and warned us that our drinks on the chair were going to knock over and sure enough, he hit my shoulder (on accident) and one of them which was way less than half empty knocked over. Later on my boyfriend tried to ask for a drink and they told us we were cut off because “I knocked over a drink”. My boyfriend and his friend were in a completely different area and i’m not sure why our entire group was cut off. I will add a mistake on my end was completely forgetting to help clean up the ice. I did feel bad about that. Regardless it wasn’t a drunken mistake and our entire group didn’t deserve to get cut off because of that.

I think this was once a Steak & Ale or similarly themed restaurant. Apparently they are grandfathered in to allowing smoking in the bar - can’t remember the last time I saw that. It’s a really old place but well-maintained and they have a separate nonsmoking section including restrooms so you don’t have to walk through the smoking section.
My wings were excellent and my wife enjoyed her salad. The only odd thing was being out of silverware but we rolled with it. A very good bar food experience overall.
