We like Pisco's for their flavorful food & variety. Something other than pizza ,burger or other sandwiches

First time diner and I am a new fan as is my dining companion!

We arrived as the place opened and there were others who were also enthusiastic about being there.

We were both very hungry but didn’t have time try drinks or appetizers. Next time!

We ordered lechon asada and ropa vieja both accompanied by black beans, yellow rice and plantains. Each order was enough for 2-3 servings. The ropa vieja was fork tender and the lechon asada was crispy but not overdone.

The food was well seasoned and the prices were good at an average of $21/person before tax and tip.

The rest of the menu was very interesting and they had some good specials. There aren’t lunches offered on the weekend but I look to trying them out during the week.

Mom has some of the leftovers and she was very pleased!

Grouper sandwich is BUSSIN!! The best fish sandwich I’ve had in a while. It was so unexpected! I just wanted some fish and found this spot nearby. I will be back!

Clean place and nice area. The food, however, leaves much to be desired. Very little authentic taste for the price

I accidentally placed an online order with this restaurant and called to cancel just three minutes later. Although they agreed to cancel the order, they still charged me the full amount—even though the food hadn’t even been prepared. It’s extremely unfair that they’re profiting from an order that was never completed.

Roxana was an amazing server! Super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended the Lomo Saltado and the Chaufa de Carne—both were absolutely delicious, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We also tried the Old Fashioned she suggested, and it was one of the best I’ve had. Great experience overall!

Another awesome visit! Roxana took care of us again and she’s super friendly

This time I had the churrasco and it was amazing—so tender and full of flavor. One of the best steaks I’ve had in a while. I also tried the passion fruit pisco and it was super refreshing—sweet, tangy, and just what I needed.

Highly recommend both. Can’t wait to come back again!

I had this place on our list and couldn’t wait to try it!! Unfortunately it was a slight let down. Our food wasn’t as delicious as I was hoping because it didn’t have much seasoning. It was still good just not amazing. The lady serving us spent more time chatting with other servers and we had to get her attention whenever we needed anything even water. Our drinks took forever! We came just before the dinner crowd so the place was pretty empty not sure what the problem was. It’s probably worth another try and I think the situation was likely not the norm but we likely won’t ever return.

NO STARS for food because we never received our order.

I have absolutely loved coming to this restaurant since moving to the area—I’ve been there a handful of times. Food has always been excellent (the lomo and pollo saltado are as authentic as I’ve ever had, and I lived several years in South Florida with some very good Peruvian restaurants). But … I will NEVER return after tonight. The waitress was rude from the moment we sat down (we’ve always had the same waiter in the past). We needed some extra time to order, so I ordered an Old Fashioned in the meantime. It was not very good (undrinkable)—bitter, not sweet enough, etc. I’ve had a lot of Old Fashioneds over the years and they can be tricky to get right. I never (ever) return drinks but this was bad. A waiter came by (who usually serves us) and asked how things were. We mentioned the drink casually. He said he’d fix it. Great, right?

Instead, our waitress got wind of it, came back and asked about it, insisted that SHE would make it, and brought me another one.

Regardless of how it tasted I was going to say “fine.” But for some reason it had bubbles in it (it’s not supposed to!) and when I sipped it—she insisted that I do in front of her—it was again awful tasting.

At that point we just wanted to eat—it had been 20 minutes now—but I also started feeling strange. More on that later.

Meanwhile, the couple next to us had sat down at about the same time we did, received their food, and finished—and we had yet to receive any of our food.

We waited another 30-40 minutes and the place was emptying out. We were growing frustrated. Finally I went to the bar and paid for the drink (against my date’s wishes) because I just wanted to leave with a clear conscience.

Most places would not have even charged a thing and apologized. I paid and got out of there. The hostess did apologize profusely on the way out the door.

I don't know what was in that drink, but by the time I got home though my stomach was rumbling. I felt sick—and got sick. Related or not, I will never go back there. It kind of sucks because the food was always good. That experience and the terrible service will keep me from spending my money there again.

I love the chupe they make here! It's
quite an elaborate dish, so it's easier to go to a restaurant to eat it than actually make it at home! 🤪 as far as I am concerned. There are a good assortment of dishes not just Peruvian so there are several options but beware the plates are plentiful so do not over order! The also had some nice Juices, not made fresh though so knowing as I do that they could be too sweet I decided to mix them with water ! I can't speak about the alcohol as I did have any cocktails!
