I was celebrating my Retirement with family and our server Jada helped make it a great experience. She was very attentive. The food was the best. I would like to note there was a group seated about 10 minutes after us and by us that was instantly extremely and constantly loud and boisterous and was getting side glances from wait staff and other patrons also. So loud our waitress had trouble hearing us. This restaurant doesn't normally have this type atmosphere inside at an evening meal and it was normal level at all the tables before they arrived. We hated to, but we couldn't even hear each other, but we went to hostess desk to note the situation. A manager observed their behavior and went to their table and spoke to them. They did calm down for the most part. I would like to thank the management for doing this, otherwise we would not have enjoyed our experience at all and I feel sure others in the restaurant appreciated it. Thank you.
It's quite difficult to explain how poorly the kitchen team performed since I cannot be in the kitchen. The table service was exceptional while the food was not accurate, not the correct temperature and we needed to request too many corrections. The server was on point, the kitchen was not calibrated to meet the high expectations for Ray's. Something has changed!
If you want a good place for brunch, Rays on the River is it. It sits right on the Chattahoochee River with beautiful grounds and a wonderful view. If you go, ask for Brianna. Her knowledge of the menu is refreshing as well as her attention to detail. She made our visit one to remember and wanting to go back.
What a great place! The food, the drinks, the service, the view, everything was great! A great place to celebrate a wedding anniversary!
The food was very mid. Was not impressed at all. Had the ribeye, mac & cheese & brussel sprouts. However, the atmosphere & customer service was great. If I ever return I would probably sit at the bar to drink lemon drops & have an appetizer.
The service was mediocre. Barely got the server to come check on us. Didn't clean table and would forget to bring extra napkin as requested because of a spill. Overall- very slow service and the restaurant wasn't packed. Tip is basically imposed since it's on the machine, and still tipped 20% but I should have done less.
David, our server, was on point with recommendations... from drinks, starters, entrée to dessert. The lamb was delicious!
We had a wonderful dining experience at Ray's! The food was divine and the service fantastic! And, you just cannot beat that beautiful view! A delightful evening! Thanks to ALL who made it so!
Ray's On the River consistently provides exceptional customer service, creative and outstanding menu options and incredible ambiance. 5 out of 5 *****.
Awesome experience. We had an appreciation dinner for my mom and everything was perfect. Thanks

Great service, great food, great ambiance (we ate inside as it was too hot to be outside but did have full view of the river.
My wife and I celebrate our anniversary at this location every year. The food has never been shy of perfect, and our server was very attentive.
Wonderful food. Halibut was almost perfect-could have dialed back on the pepper. Maple glazed carrots were amazing-perfectly cooked and seasoned. Service was okay. Never been to a restaurant that had you box up your own food and serve crustacean where you had to crack and dig the meat out yourself. Also, had to keep asking for flat water and kept running out. Would return for the food and hope for better service.
The food was absolutely phenomenal and we were blessed with a server named DJ. My family and I were visiting from Chicago and he made us feel right at home. He gave us amazing recommendations and was extremely helpful with the menu. He struck up great conversation with us and made our experience even better.

I was in Atlanta for work and Ray's was highly recommended by the locals. We didn't arrive to see the sunset, but I hear Ray's is a great place to watch it. Our table was by the big glass wall which made me wish I had gotten there sooner. They also have an extensive outdoor patio and seating along the river.
The food was excellent, I started with Oysters Rockefeller, and had the surf and turf special. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The crab cake, and shrimp were excellent as well and complimented the steak perfectly. Sides were top notch and the jalapeño cream corn brûlée was particularly good.
Our servers David and Justin were attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. Service was top notch!
I highly recommend Ray's, and suggest getting a reservation there 30 minutes before sunset.
