Ray's on the River

Another evening at this riverside location of Rays. Since new ownership we our fortunate that the beautiful space has remained consistent. However, ongoing menu updates are less welcome. The biggest disappointment is loss of the bread basket selection and replaced by doughy bland Parker roles !!Water service in tiny cups??? Many food items and entries remain on the menu and cooked perfectly. The she crab soup beautifully presented and BarBQ shrimp always good. Steaks cooked perfectly!!! However, the loss of baked oysters Rockefeller is disappointing. Wishing new owners success but hope they don't destroy an iconic restaurant!!!

Be sure to try the berry sangria, and finish your meal with the praline basket for dessert! Absolutely delicious!

Great experience - prices are out of control though. Only negative was the room temperature. It was close to 80 degrees.

Jeremy made our experience an absolute dream dinner date. My wife has been talking about it every hour about how amazing the food ambiance and of course Jeremy's over the top service, dialogue and genuine hospitable nature. We will definitely be back! Fantastic time and what a beautiful setting. Gotta get that cowboy T-bone, maple, glazed, carrots, and whipped potatoes! Also gotta get a deep dive into that she crab soup and a couple of really good cocktails. I suggest the Meredith dirty martini, and of course, any of the variety of ciders.

I was in town to visit my son who attends college in the area and for a business trip. The customer service was impeccable, our waitress was attentive and personable, the food was good and the ambience was wonderful as well. They had a live singer, playing the keyboard and a guitar player who set the mood for an enjoyable evening! I would highly recommend this establishment.

I asked for a table with a river view unfortunately they are doing construction so what we saw was muddy construction. Secondly the honorees lobster roll was cold because lobster was refrigerated. Thirdly not aware that the lunch menu does not include any of the food items that Ray's is known for. As the organizer of this event I was embarrassed. I've always had great experiences at Ray's but this fell far below my expectations.

Our server Tangie was awesome she did an excellent job and our food was terrific thank you for providing my wife with a great experience for her 50th birthday

We had a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived. The restaurant itself is set right next to the river. They are currently reconstructing the outdoor area but the vision they have will be beautiful once finished. It was very quiet and empty when we first arrived at 5pm. It started getting busier around 6pm. The waiter was super nice and attentive. All of the other staff members were extremely nice as well. We loved the whipped mashed potatoes and burrata.

This was my first time at Ray on the river. It will not be my last. I had the Wagyu burger. Delicious doesn't even begin to describe the flavor and the mound of shoestring fries that came with it, I was unable to finish them all. Thank you, Ray on the river for a fabulous time

We've been driving by this place for years and finally made reservations to experience it. We got there an hour early and sat at the bar, which was great. Then our entire dinner experience was excellent. Food was delicious. Service was good, and we loved all of it. We'll definitely be back again.

First time visiting and it was a very pleasant atmosphere. Fantastic food and service. We would definitely visit again on our next trip to Atlanta.

Excellent service and the food was fantastic with nice portion sizes. We had a wonderful time.

Fabulous all around especially since we were there to celebrate our 20 year anniversary and he proposed out by the river. Magical place

Amazing service by Tangie, the food was delicious especially the fillet mignon and the salmon, and the crème brûlée was awesome
