I had a really good time here and Triane is a TRUE mixologist!!! He was very attentive as our bartender and the sushi recommendations he made were spot on.

The rolls we chose were very good, fresh. They have a menu for non rice rolls. Cucumber salad was a bit too salty for my

One of the worst dining experiences in my entire life. It took them 1.5 hours to make 4 sushi rolls, one of them contained a piece of plastic wrap in it. For an hour our server didn’t even come to our table and check if we needed more water or suggested any appetizers to compensate for the ridiculously long wait time. The initial order also contained a miso soup but they said they couldn’t bring it because (!) they did not have clean bowls (oh, and it also took them 10 min to bring us water for the same reason- no clean glasses available). After finding a piece of plastic wrap in one of our sushi rolls the server suggested to take that roll out of our check. But that is it. Idk what is going on with this place (maybe a combination of poor management, staff shortage, broken appliances ?‍♀️?) but I will never ever come back to this place. Awful service

We went there on Friday night and ordered 4 different sushi. We waited more than an hour to get our sushi. While waiting we did not get any updates what is going on and how much more we needed to wait. Also we couldn’t get our water for 10 min as well, simply they did not have clean glasses. Also one of my friends ordered a soup and she did not get it for more than an hour also because they didn’t have clean bowls. At the end when we got our sushi we found a piece of plastic wrap!!! Never come back…

We had an awful experience at Sushi Nami on Glenridge. To be clear, atmosphere and food were fine. Soup and appetizers arrived promptly. We had arrived early and the tables were less than half full. But then our server disappeared. After 45 minutes we asked another server for help and she said ‘We are busy- what do you want?’ My request for drink refills was answered with an eye roll and no response. After over an hour after appetizers, our sushi arrived. The check was dropped off without eye contact or a word. To be clear, the food was fine. And yes, we could still see our original server in the restaurant helping other tables. No idea what happened, it’s up to you if you want to risk it. Not worth it for my time or money. Plenty of other great options in the area

Gorgeous looking place with terrible service and poor quality food. The main area does look great and you can see the chefs making sushi. The service and food does not match the atmosphere. It took almost a hour just to get our appetizers and we ordered drinks which we had to remind the waitress 3 times just for one mojito. Now the food is abysmal, I mean who puts grapes in a lobster ceviche? It was such an embarrassment for the restaurant and to the friends I was entertaining as they haven't tried ceviche before. The sushi was fine. Not great or bad. I would stay away from anything raw here

Their rice is no longer gluten free, so we will not be back. I couldn't try the rice, but my husband said the new rice didn't taste good.

Ordered the Sushi for Two and it was just enough. Arrived at 9pm, no wait and not crowded. The sushi was fresh. Uni was delicious and fresh. Good service and ambiance.

Best sushi around, but sadly the prices have gone up so much it’s not reasonable anymore.

This place charged 20% gratuity for the 0% service they provided our table. Our server was so inattentive. She didn’t provide menus when we sat down and our waters were never filled. When she brought our checks she put them on the table instead of handing them back to us. Also, the air vents are covered in black mold. Yuck! When we asked what the specials of the day were our server told us to go and look at the board where they were written by the front door. The food was subpar at best and the service was absolutely terrible. Won’t be back ever.

There are actually several types of food I like to get at Sushi Nami:Sushi and SashimiBento BoxesNoodlesNot to say they have a bunch of other sections such as donburi, fried rice, cold noodles, small plates, teriyaki plates, and even a section called "I don't like raw stuff" which has things like tempura lunch, fish and chips, tonkatsu and more!I recommend 12 and 69, Big O, Jalapeno Lobster (actually made with an entire lobster), The River, Tommy Sunset, Up the Stream and Wicked Tuna. I always enjoy Sushi and Sashimi plate for when I just straight up want sashimi, and then I do recommend the Nabeyaki udon noodle soup (with added egg) it is just the perfect dish when it's cold out.Last but not least the bento boxes are huge and the salmon, beef, and chicken are all tasty. You have the option to sit inside vs outside, the outside is light and nice in the warmer months, and the inside is a darker vibe, probably good for a date.I have to take off a star though because service can just be SUPER slow here.

In between 3 and 4, leaning towards 3 bc price/value .. pretty expensive, and smaller portions. The chicken karage, calamari, hamachi collar are all delicious as is the sushi. Cool decor inside. The front decor /ambiance is very diff from the back which is more romantic

Sushi Nami can be found in Sandy Springs. I'm not gonna lie, the vibe was pretty cool. You can sit on the outdoor patio or inside of the restaurant. Now this is what a rubber meets the road. Our waitress kept disappearing. We would ask her for something and literally there was a wait of about five minutes before she came back. The restaurant didn't look that busy, and there was waitstaff behind the bar and behind the hostess stand playing on their phones. The avocado tempura is different however, I probably would not order it again. The rolls were good however, the cooked roll by the time I got to the table was cold the shrimp fried rice had a nice blend of vegetables however, it was cold when I got to my table, and the shrimp was overcooked. When I return to the restaurant... May be another location. I will give it 3.5 stars. #majormunchies #sushinami #followmetogoodfood #thisgirlcaneat
