I’ve been coming to Taco Mac over 20 years. I live on the other side of town and it’s literally a Taco Mac that’s four miles from my house that I refuse to step foot in due to a horrible experience at that location. I have my preferred servers that I deal with when I come to this location however, one works on day shift and the other one is out on leave.

My issue is with your server Yusifah and she’s terrible! This is my second time having to deal with her and I’ve waited tables during my college years and she’s an example of what a server should not be. She’s very inattentive, unprofessional and literally abandons her tables. Seeing this is my second time dealing with her, this time was no different from the initial time I dealt with her last fall. She’s literally MIA and never comes to check on the table to see if you need anything and the hostess literally brought my food out and she doesn’t even come to see if I wanted or needed anything else and proceeded to drop my ticket off.

Ticked off is an understatement as I eat out several times a week and have some restaurants on my weekly rotation and never experience this poor level of service at the higher end establishments that I go to on a regular basis. I’m one to tip no less than 20% but she literally received no tip from me due to her poor service and lack of concern. Dropped my ticket off and tried to walk away when I stopped her and told her that she did not give me my card back. She tried to play it off like it was with the ticket and when I became firm that she still had my card, she then produces my card from her apron. Rather than closing my ticket out, I have to sit and wait while she sits down and decides to clear a table off across from me and very unacceptable.

I ended up leaving a $5 tip to the hostess on my way out for taking the time to bring my food out. After tonight’s experience, going forward whenever I do decide to return, I will only be dealing with the servers that I typically deal with because tonight’s service was very unacceptable. Tips are earned and not given and I refuse to tip someone who clearly is rude and unprofessional!

Love the brisket taco. I replace the pico de with Cole slaw! It is so tasty! Also the strawberry lemonade cocktail is delicious! Service also great. My order was incorrect and management didn’t hesitate to fix it! Love this place

The service was so slow and so below average. Half of the tables food came out cold. They forgot one of the kids meals of chicken tenders and instead of saying they messed up, they blamed it on a delay in the kitchen when clearly the server forgot to put the order in so by the time we were finished eating he got his food. The only decent dish was the garlic Parmesan wings. It would take a lot for me to return for that kind of punishment again.

Kim is a stud! Brought a group of 12 guys in our mid twenties and she absolutely killed it… service, cracking jokes, timeliness, patience. She’s your dream waitress!

We live across town, but came to this location because of the Ole Miss vs Miami Fiesta Bowl game watching party. Yusifah was our server and she was the absolute best...even when I broke the world record for the most times asked for more Diet Coke. We had a party of five and despite it being crazy packed and busy, her outstanding customer service never wavered. Her service was timely and friendly.

We literally live next to a Taco Mac, but if we're ever in this part of Sandy Springs, we will come back not just for the great food...but for the greater service (hopefully) from Yusifah.

I love the food there but I think the staffing needs to be addressed. I sat at the bar and I quickly noticed that one bartender was there serving everyone at a full bar and making drinks for everyone there in the entire building. She didn't have a dishwasher until the place was getting close to closing. I'd recommend eating at other places with better staffing or not sitting at the bar until this place is appropriately staffed.

This restaurant is always on point with its food and drinks. We’ve tried other places for chicken wings, and they were a big disappointment—so if you want normal-size, juicy chicken wings full of flavor, this is the place. They have a great selection of wing flavors, as well as an excellent beer selection. If you’re not into beer, they also offer a variety of delicious cocktails.
On previous visits, we tried the hamburgers with potato tots, and they were also delicious. I’m telling you—this Taco Mac is really good!!

My husband ate here last night (December 2025) and he has been suffering from horrible food poisoning all day. Tried to call to inform to the restaurant so no one else has to suffer and they won’t answer the phone. Do NOT eat here. He had baked wings & Mac and cheese.
