We went on a Friday night. There was a live singer. But don't worry it wasn't just Irish music. The music was at a level you could still talk to people at the table with you.
Always great food. We started with chips ( fries) with curry sauce to dip in. The fries were hot and crisp. We had never had the curry sauce. If you like cumin you'll enjoy this. This is a shareable size so we took a fair amount home.
For entees, I had the stew and my husband had the full breakfast.
The Guinness Stew has very very very tender beef, halved cherry tomatoes (they still held their shape and not just total mush) , large slices of carrots (still firm to chew but not crunchy), caramelized onions, and topped with mashed potatoes mixed with a tiny amount of cabbage. It does not have any broth and at first I was disappointed but it ended up not being an issue. My only true complaint is the amount of onions was excessive. Serving size is plenty without being humongous. After the fries and looking forward to dessert I had enough left for a good lunch tomorrow.
The full breakfast has a brown bread, eggs, beans, sauteed mushrooms, a banger (sausage), English bacon (different than typical crunchy American more like ham), black pudding, and white pudding. Neither of us had ever had black pudding nor white pudding. We both liked the white pudding. I didn't try the black pudding and he said he didn't like it. Everything else was good.
For dessert we ordered bread pudding and was pleasantly surprised when it came with ice cream, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream. The bread is drizzled with caramel. We are the ice cream, whipped cream, and strawberries. Looking forward to eating the bread pudding tomorrow.

It's a cool pub! Solid food and great customer service. Nice and clean (for a dive bar). With correct expectations? Definitely a 5 star

Thos. O’Reilly’s Public House is one of the best Irish pubs you’ll find in Sandy Springs. Conveniently located in City Walk, it combines authentic Irish hospitality with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home the moment you step through the door.
The food here is consistently excellent. The menu features classic Irish dishes alongside American pub favorites, so there’s something for everyone. The shepherd’s pie is hearty and flavorful, the fish and chips are crispy and perfectly cooked, and the Guinness beef stew tastes like true comfort food. If you’re just in the mood for a lighter bite, their appetizers like the wings or spinach dip pair perfectly with a cold pint. Every dish feels freshly prepared and served with care.
Speaking of drinks, the bar selection is outstanding. Of course, Guinness is always on tap, but you’ll also find a wide range of Irish whiskeys, craft beers, and cocktails. The bartenders know their stuff and are happy to recommend pairings or mix something special. It’s a great spot whether you’re stopping in for a quiet pint or enjoying a night out with friends.
The vibe is another reason this pub stands out. The interior is cozy with dark wood, warm lighting, and Irish décor that creates an authentic feel without being overdone. There’s often live music, which adds to the lively yet relaxed atmosphere. The outdoor patio is also a nice option when the weather is good.
The staff here deserve special mention—they’re friendly, attentive, and genuinely make you feel like a valued guest. Service is fast, even when the pub is busy, and the energy of the team adds to the overall experience.
Overall, Thos. O’Reilly’s Public House is a gem in Sandy Springs—great food, great drinks, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back.

My husband and I love to go to this Pub for food and drinks.
We recently reserved the rooftop at the restaurant and everyone had a blast.
The food platters we ordered were all so good. Everyone was able to order their cocktails and drinks they wanted. Also, the service we received was great too.
The roof top can accommodate up to 60 people if anyone needs a place to host a party.
Thank you for a great time!

I am not one to complain normally, but the order I received tonight was not at all what I expected. We ordered the bangers and it was completely different than what it looked like in the pictures and it was very bland. The chips we received were extremely soggy with zero flavor. Not at all what we were expecting
The food is very good, just upset that they advertise both online and at their front door that the kitchen opens at 3. We arrived early and were hungry only to be told all they had for the next hour was beer…

Atmosphere is great, servers were great. The table collectively decided the food was okay, and the bunch of folks rolling in to play music was loud. It was still early in the day and we were trying to carry on a conversation.

Great place! Live music. Shrimp and Gritz was the best I’ve ever had. Good appetizers…curry fries, pub wings, and brown bread.

Pretty decent vibes. Unfortunately they don't have much, if any, vegan food. The Philadelphia pretzel is not really a Philly pretzel. Service was good.
