Stopped in to try this restaurant as I've been informed of quite a bit of buzz about it. It is located in a small strip mall-like area in Aria. They offer valet parking or you can find a spot on the street that's just a short walk away. There's also a free parking garage that services all the businesses located here.

Upon walking in, the ambiance here is nice. Definitely upscale from your run of the mill place with a bar, big open area and a 2nd floor to boot. They have an open kitchen setup that allows you to see the chefs working the grill, which is pretty neat. Looks like the manager (or who appeared to be the manager) checks every plate that is prepared for accuracy so that's a pretty neat addition as well.

As for the food, it started off very mid. The chicken wings were the appetizer and it was hardly seasoned. Whatever sauce it came with (wasn't the banger sauce below), it didn't help them much but they were large and well cooked as far as temperature. The fish and rice with salmon was the best entree of the night but we switched up the rice because the dill rice was way too overpowering of a flavor. The chicken shish kabob was so mid, the manager checked on me and offered an option of sweet or savory sauce. I must've had a look on my face for him to check on me but he did and I elected to get the spicy sauce. Let me tell y'all, if ya meal is lacking GET A SAUCE! This spicy sauce took the entree from low mid to very enjoyable on its OWN! The spice was great, there was a good amount of kick to it, and you could taste the freshness of it. I highly recommend this sauce. Each entree came with what appeared to be a grilled tomato and they don't offer much to the meal to me. Topped it off with Persian Ice cream sandwiches for dessert and those were very enjoyable.

All in all, if you're into Persian cuisine, I think these folks are worth a try but DON'T sleep on a sauce to help elevate your meal and expect A1 service here.

This was my first time trying this restaurant and it was really good. The drinks were top tier. I enjoyed the lamb neck with puréed cauliflower. My daughter had the lamb chops and she thought they were cooked well, but needed a little more seasoning. For the app we chose the flatbread which was just ok. The flavors didn’t work for me, but everything else was great. Our server, Sophia was amazing!

Family of 4, went there randomly for late lunch. Everything was fine until my wife found a hair in Humus. The manager took off the charge for that plate & told us the folks in kitchen wear a hard cap however it’s not a good feeling to see hair in food. We left unsatisfied.

Chicken koobiday and appetizers I liked but could have been better. Could have had a bit more flavor in the Kashk Bademjoon. Atmosphere was amazing I will say. Service was good, little slow but up to a high standard

We had high hopes for Yalda when choosing it for a special evening as we have dined in multiple times before, but unfortunately, our experience this time left us deeply disappointed. While the ambiance and food may attract those looking for a nice evening out, the lack of accommodation for a basic religious request was disheartening.

As practicing Muslims, we politely asked if we could pray in an empty space—something we have done here before without issue. This time, however, we were flatly denied and only given an explanation of "it is policy." Note the second floor and patio were all empty so space was not an issue. The refusal felt very dismissive.

A restaurant that welcomes Muslims by serving halal food should also be mindful of their religious obligations. We hope Yalda reconsiders its approach to hospitality, as a truly welcoming space isn’t just about serving halal food—it’s about respecting the faith and practices of the community it aims to serve.

Until then, we won’t be returning.

Over priced food, they even charge for jug water ($6) and normal sauce on the side, even onions! Food was mediocre. Slow service and waitress seemed confused.

Extremely disappointing experience at Yalda. I arrived at 11:29 AM and attempted to open the door, only to see multiple waitstaff inside who clearly noticed us struggling to enter. Not one of them acknowledged us or took a moment to inform us that they would be opening in just a minute. Frustrated, we left and, out of curiosity, I called at 11:31 AM—only to be told they open at 11:30 but simply do not unlock the doors until then.

As someone in sales, I value excellent customer service, especially when meeting with a client. This lack of basic courtesy left a terrible impression, and I will certainly not be choosing Yalda for any future client meetings. A simple gesture of acknowledgment could have made all the difference.
