The service and food were excellent. However, the bar service was substandard. When we sat down and the server finished describing the specials, I immediately order my drink. Getting the drink was taking so long that the server had to apologize and indicated the bar was behind. The drink arrived after I finished my salad and my main course had arrived. Three of us Michiganders enjoyed dinner on a Saturday night. The ambience was outstanding. We had a classical pianist playing during dinner and he was excellent. The dining room looked lovely. Our waitress made the evening even more special with wonderful suggestions and a better than average knowledge of wine. We chose short ribs, shrimp scampi and a chicken dish followed by desserts from heaven! The food could not have been better! Would highly recommend and we can't wait...
We were a little disappointed with this place. The ambiance was fantastic and our service was fabulous as well. We were a little disappointed that a "fine dining" establishment didn't have any specials. The food was good, but there was nothing spectacular about it. The live music was nice. The drinks were TERRIBLE. For us, the drinks are almost as important as the food when we dine out. Drinks are so expensive, they should be worth the $15 per drink that you are...
