Had a really good experience here on Valentine's Day 2020. My boyfriend and I wanted to dress up and go somewhere nice, and this was the perfect combo of nice atmosphere that wasn't too uptight. It also sasn't too expensive (but it is a hotel restaurant so expect higher prices).

One of my favorite places for tasty french food. I look forward to going back again. Bring your appetite because portions are large.

I came to the restaurant for three nights in a raw and I was extremely satisfied with the service and the quality of the food. The rabbit and stake are great and the fried goat cheese salad with unique flavor. I will come back over and over! I highly recommended this place.

Great theme. Delish food. Usually great service, though this visit I endured an Impatient bartender when ordering takeout. I asked for side of beets (they have other menu items) and the reaction: beets presented like croutons, dumped in box. On happier notes: Love the bisque and French onion soup. Mussels are fantastic! They sometimes have dessert specials which are fantastic! Fourth time as a hotel guest and restaurant patron--just not 5 star tonight.

I visited this restaurant while at a work conference and it is AMAZING!!!! The friendliness of the staff, the comfortable atmosphere of the restaurant, and the great food are all the reasons why I had to eat here twice. My waitress both times was Vanessa and she was great. I can't wait to come back with my husband.

Tough night for the server he was alone with a few helpers. He did a great job. Food was presented well and delicious. Had the duck confit and chicken cordon bleu.

Dined on the all you can eat mussels night. We didn't do the all you can eat, but tried 4 of the amazing flavors available. Food was delicious and perfect to have at the hotel during a recent meeting conference. Highly recommend.

Food is fresh and tasty. The staff can be inattentive. For instance forgetting bread and drink refills. The food is good, restaurant is clean and comfortable.

My fiance and I ate there the day after Valentines for our Valentine dinner. This was our second time eating at 39 Rue de Jean and this time was much worse. We asked to sit at one of the tables by the bar because the first table was right next to the door and was too cold. The bartender had all the tables in the bar area plus everyone sitting at the bar. We received bread and our Mussel appetizer timely. After that it all went down hill as we had to wait hours for our entrees and drinks. We noticed people at the bar and other tables getting their food and drink while we just sat there. The other wait staff ignored us and we felt terrible for the bartender. I really hope they work on this because the food is good.

Service was slow. Went to this restaurant for sushi . Online website menu list several sushi items. When arrived we were informed they no longer serve sushi . Very misleading.

Our group of four celebrating two birthdays just loved our first visit to 39 Rue de Jean! Service was outstanding, all of our dinners were excellent and wine choices were varied and good. The atmosphere was very French and intimate while still having the exciting buzz of a French bistro. The manager stopping by to offer birthday wishes and a celebratory treat made the experience perfect.

There was not enough information about the dishes to tell if the would be gluten free or not so my girlfriend was not able to eat the appetizer. Besides that it was really good.

Only real positive was the service Lackluster ambience, all food was void of any real flavor, and prices were extremely high for what you get.

The service was below average especially for fine dining and the price. I ordered a medium stake and it came out full of grizzle and way undercooked. Will never go back.
