Came here for our one-year anniversary, same place we had our first date as an official couple. Sat at the same table and everything was just as fantastic as it was before. Sadie took care of us and is an excellent true professional server. You could tell she was busy but never missed a beat! Our meals were awesome, split a salad, then had apps and sides for our entree. Wine was perfect, even had leftovers for lunch! 45 Bistro is a true gem and never disappoints. See y’all next year (or sooner)!!!

45 Bistro is hands down the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. My partner and I enjoyed it so much, we went two nights in a row. Both times, we had the Bibb salad and filet with pomme frites and Gorgonzola — absolutely incredible! The food was outstanding, and the service was warm and welcoming. Can’t recommend it enough!

Diane gave excellent dining service. She used a lot of standards I like to see in establishments. She was knowledgeable and generally pretty friendly. Keep it up. My parents loved their food. Thank you for taking care of us.

To the one star review below, everyone in the restaurant applauded when y’all FINALLY left. The service is always impeccable and the food is always astounding. From the moment you two walked in, everyone knew it was going to be a problem. You slammed your chair into our table and then were mad at us when we asked if you could move it. You were angry that the waitress was talking to our table instead of bringing your drinks which you had just ordered. They then proceeded to yell at both the chef, and a waiter and were asked to politely leave. To me and everyone else in the establishment, they were looking for a free meal. Said they didn’t even eat the food but the plates were CLEAN. If this is how you treat people in the restaurant industry, YES, please go back to New York.

My wife and I ate there last night after vacationing in Savannah for a few days and enjoying food from several recommended restaurants. We stayed at the adjoining Marshall House and made a last minute reservation at 45 Bistro due to some inclement weather. This establishment was hands down the best dining experience of our Savannah trip. Starting with our server, Sadie, and her recommendations for wine and entrees it was the best meal I have had anywhere in years, the beet salad got us started and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the blackened Grouper. I had scallops and boy oh boy they were fantastic and practically melted in my mouth. We can’t wait to go back. Mike

The food was delicious. For appetizers we had beef carpaccio and roasted hearts of romaine. We also had oven roasted chicken with risotto, and salmon with orzo. Everything was cooked to perfection. For dessert we tried the creme brulee and chocolate torte. We made reservations for 6:00 pm which is the restaurant’s opening time, we actually arrived 10 minutes earlier, and it was the best move because once all the tables were occupied the service slowed down significantly. Other than that everything was perfect.

UPDATE: 2 hours after this review, I got a call from hotel staff saying they were so very sorry for our experience; the restaurant had called over to tell them to give us a call. We were offered a bottle of Prosecco. The manager herself from 45 Bistro came to give it to us. She was SUPER apologetic and sweet. I didn’t write this review to get anything for free; just to let them know that there needs to be better communication about their affiliation with the Marshall House. But, I am changing my review to 5 stars because even though our experience wasn’t great, the time and care from management to make up for the situation was nice; and my husband and I will be back to 45 Bistro in the future :) She explained that the staff was given more training on their affiliation with the hotel.

I have NEVER in my life been treated so badly by waitstaff. We are staying at the Marshall House, and we were told we could charge our meal to our room. Keep in mind on the Marshall House website it lists 45 Bistro as their restaurant. When it came time to pay, we said we would like to charge it to our room and the waiter immediately got an attitude and claimed that they weren’t affiliated AT ALL with the Marshall House. I then politely said that we were told by the front desk that we could. He stormed off and said he would ask a manager. He came back with a form that they use for that, and he claimed he didn’t know they did that, then doubled down that they weren’t affiliated AT ALL with Marshall House. We filled out the form, tipped him 20%, and left. We decided to go back the next night since it was conveniently attached to our hotel, and we enjoyed it the night before. When we walked in, a woman rudely said “weren’t you here last night??” We said yes then she proceeded to randomly say “we aren’t affiliated with the Marshall House” um ok. I’m not sure why that’s an issue, but we sat down. She then proceeded to be VERY rude the entire time; she SLUNG the bread and pesto on the table and was extremely nasty in her tone. When it came time to pay, she said “I already told my manager you are here.” Then she said in a condescending tone “I always like to pay with my food with cash.” She brought the form, and even though she was a terrible waitress, we still tipped her 20%. She then proceeded to get rude about why people think they are affiliated with Marshall House, and I told her the website even called it “their” restaurant. She then said “WELL I DONT KNOW WHY!!” Why does it matter if we charge it to the room?? They were still paid. WILL NOT BE BACK.

We popped in to the hotel bar and enjoyed cocktails, wine along with a delicious crudo. Great big portions!

Really nice place with TERRIFIC service & nice atmosphere. Food was above average, but not great; however, I felt like the over the top service made up for that.

Highly recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious. I had the grouper which was amazing. The portion size were all generous. There is a beautiful bar that is worthy of an after dinner cocktail. Our waitress was on top of her game. Go and you won't be sorry.
