We are new residents to Savannah and enjoy discovering new places. Alexander’s Bistro was our first big disappointment. Prices were a bit high for the portions but service attitude led the way for this review. A server seemed angry at the concept of getting an avocado on our avocado toast (toast and a cold egg came separately minus the avocado) and butter for toast on another order (came from same server with a side of big attitude). Too bad as this a local place that could have been a regular stop.

I really don’t know what went wrong or how we’re the only people in the reviews who have had this experience but wow that was rough. We ordered 4 side items and only were given 3, had to wait for them to make more after asking. 3 out of 4 of our drink orders needed reminding when they didn’t show up in a timely manner with one of them needing 2 reminders. Additionally staff acted very confused and inconvenienced at every step of the way and had to repeatedly ask us what exactly we were waiting on. “Grits bowl” ordered to-go was haphazardly thrown into a paper to-go box with no bowl which was hilarious. Really just a series of events that had all of us looking at each other like “what???”. Food was nowhere near good enough to justify steep prices. Maybe this was a one-time thing but it was pretty disappointing given the glowing reviews.

Today our family of eight visited for the first time. What a lovely experience! Olivia took great care of us, as did the other young woman who's name I didn't get. Very personable and down to earth. Portions made the prices worth the meals. They were delicious and satisfying. Thank you to the whole team. Nice job. Next time we are in the area to visit family, we must return.

I only had iced coffee, with the eggs, bacon, and home fries, but every single item was exquisite. Supremely well-executed simple dish. Nothing is cheap in the historic district, but this was worth every penny.

Solid option and first time here. Had the wake up breakfast platter and everything was amazing. Scramble eggs were fluffy, bacon was crispy and sausage was cooked well. Hash browns were amazing as well.

Cute! Small but hip. New & young vibe! Late teen + early 20's business innocence. Honesty and smile is refreshing. Open for conversation. Homely to regulars and tourist alike. Went there for Sunday Brunch. Breakfast bowl is great. Replaced meat with plant based Bratwurst. Amazing flavors. Wish their home made baguette was toasted for my sandwich but their attitude made it for the minor imperfections.

Came here on a whim for the Sunday brunch. Highly recommend! The focaccia was so delightfully soft on the breakfast pizza. The greens were fresh, and the eggs perfectly scrambled in the breakfast burrito.
