Not going to give this a one star off one bad experience but my gf and I were very excited to stop in for a quick drink on our way home as we were walking her aunt back to the place we were staying. We stopped in to get her a quick water for her aunt and both my gf and I a drink (mind you I haven’t even drank at all yet). According to the bartender w/ short light brown hair we had to sit down and eat because we were “plastered” All we wanted was to get my gf and I a quick drink to go and some water to take care of her aunt but instead were treated so freaking poorly. Ive never seen a person deny other people in a group drinks who did nothing wrong and were respectful the whole whopping 5min we were in there. I asked politely why I couldn’t get a drink cause I legit didn’t say one word or do anything wrong and she called all of us plastered and that we would need food before any drinks. We just came from a late dinner to take her aunt home. One drunk person affiliated with my group apparently means the rest of us are too. We’re all in the service industry so we understand not serving someone if they’ve had too much but we were all very respectful and immediately removed her aunt from the situation so I just don’t understand the hostility from the bartender. Wish I got the name of her, she was not the friendliest or understanding with us whatsoever. Looks like a cool atmosphere though, just an unfortunate situation for me.

Drinks are very expensive and are literally 1/2 to 3/4 ice. We sat at the bar and watch them make our drinks. They felt no embarrassment whatsoever by adding a ton of ice to the top of each drink. For $18 a drink I expected something a little bit more than this. The drink was tasty, but there wasn’t much of it. We decided to not order food because if this is how they handle the bar, which is quite extensive Then who knows what they do to the food. When we walked in, we were very impressed with the bar because they have a wide variety of alcohol and accompaniments. This place is very disappointing. Won’t be returning.

Do not miss this speakeasy vibe while visiting Savannah! The space is absolutely gorgeous, restored and super clean and warm. The seating is super comfy and intimate. We loved the newspaper menu, so creative. The drinks were delicious and the servers and bartenders so knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Service sucked and the table service tonight was pretty bad. We had friends that didn’t know what they wanted and asked for the server’s opinion. Server was incredibly rude, visibly annoyed, and then didn’t check up on us until we had to go up to them to ask for the check (30-35 min). Asked for water and it never came. Another person joined our party and was never greeted for a drink order.
Would go for a drink but wouldn’t stay for the service. Super pretentious.

This bar was a very cool stop on our trip. The menu was so creative and the drinks were superb. Jason really crushed it in their first night!! A great asset to the bar. Way to go.

Amazing underground speakeasy. This is a MUST DO when in Savannah. The menu is a newspaper. The mixologists are amazing, drinks were great! Super cool atmosphere, was very clean. Clean bathrooms too! Love the “secret” door at the base of the stairs. No food.

Came in Saturday night with a group of seven or so. We ordered our drinks. My cousin and I wanted to have a quick private conversation so we walked over to the bar for a quick round of shots and a quiet word with each other. The bar itself was empty. When we attempted to order we were accused of trying “game the system.” It was the most bizarre interaction at a bar I’ve ever had. They were mad we were ordering drinks. At a bar. We were berated for another minute until finally a chill bartender arrived and got us what we wanted. This place use to be so chill but some of the bartenders have gotten this pretentiousness about them.

Not a very good experience. When we arrived there was a group of drunk men at the entrance, one of them was harresing us and the bouncer didn't really seem to care. A waiter that was outside told us we would have to wait 45 minutes to get a table but then another guy told us it would be a couple of minutes, which was pretty confusing. When we got inside the service wasn't very friendly. Drinks were okay.

Very chill speakeasy. They have absinthe which is neat. The menu is a custom comic book which I found interesting. It was a very slow night and still my coworker had to wait 40min for their drink. We just decided to leave instead of wait anymore. I bet it's nice on a crowded Friday but on the random Wednesday we went it was dead.
