We expected to be at a more beautiful place. Quality of food was not at the level of a Westin. Ambiance was not welcoming for a New Years Eve.

Out family had a great experience in our NYE dinner. We loved the chicken with sprouts and potatoes. We highly recommend it!!!

Disappointing for a “luxury resort.” $20pp for buffet with very basic options and not even yogurt or oatmeal like you'd find a “budget” Marriott brands where breakfast is included.

The reviews are true. Very long waits. Cold food, spotty quality and service, cold atmosphere. The sea bass was quite good, which is the 2nd star. They were out of half the items on the menu, and drinks were inconsistent and very slow.

We showed up for our reservation and it took us 15 minutes to be acknowledged, just for us to be told they were on a 15 minute hold. My fiancé pointed out at least 10 plates dying in the window. We also observed several plates being brought back. We ended up leaving and eating elsewhere. This place used to be great but has fallen off horribly.

One of the worst dining experiences of my life. Due to under staffing. Food was ok , at best.

We went there for Christmas Day dinner and were not happy at all. People told us how beautiful the scenery is to looking out the windows. Looking out hand-smudged windows was very difficult and we were only on the second floor so the view wasn't as beautiful as people were telling us. It's like sitting in a big hall with tables. Not fancy, but the prices were. The gazpacho with crab meat was very good with nice fresh crab meat and taste (the menu said small or large dish, and I was not asked and got an enormous dish of it which I couldn't finish). The rest of the food was edible, but not great. They didn't bring rolls to the table, the floors needed sweeping, and it did not feel like any kind of a special dinner. It's just a hotel with a dining room...nothing fancy, nothing special like we were looking for. The online said that they were going to be doing something special but nothing was done extra and there were no specials. We won't be going back. If you look at the picture I included, you can see the smudge print of hands to the left of the Christmas tree outdoors. It would have been a beautiful picture.

Wonderful find after a late check in and a long travel day.
The crab Gazpacho was perfect, the crispy tofu was from my dreams, Mac n cheese was comforting, & the fried shrimp were the all time crispiest Clarence was on top of his game, Zelphia & Likang were absolutely hospitality incarnate.

Atmosphere: 5

Service left a lot to be desired, food was mediocre, and they brought our red wine in white wine glasses. Honestly the view of the Christmas tree was the only saving grace.

Horrible experience. Mixup on reservation. Worked that out and then when our plates delivered, completely cold.

Eating in a conference room was not a good experience. No windows, no view, music was nice. Miss the old days when Thanksgiving was held in the actual Aqua Star restaurant, the food was phenomenal, hot food, mimosas were free (2 per person), great desserts, oyster Rockefeller, etc ... Now the food is terrible, processed, salty, cold. Even the sweet tea was watered down, the coffee was COLD. The ambience or lack of was bad. The price was $85 per person with a service fee of $30 and a parking fee of $20. And of course the tip. Absolute disaster on Thanksgiving, WILL NOT RETURN! Shame on the Westin for putting on a shameful Thanksgiving luncheon.

The service was very good with attentive hostess and wait staff. The ambiance was ok since it was in the ballroom. They did have a guy playing old 70s soft rock which helped. Food was good, not great. Highlight was oysters on half shell. The price was reasonable for a full buffet at a nice hotel on Thanksgiving.

The food was all cold. I don't think any of it had been over the heat long enough. Cold food is not good. The price was ridiculous based on this. I made my reservation for the Aqua Star not Ball Room A. There was no view. We traveled 5 hours and it was such a disappointment. We used to come Easter and Thanksgiving but never again. The buffet tables were so far away from each other that there was no way to peruse all the food to discover what you really wanted. And the large room was chilly.

Breakfast buffet is excellent. A bit pricey if you are not a big eater. But everything is fresh and very hot. Service is very attentive.

We waited for 20 minutes at our table and no one ever came to serve us. It was so cold in the restaurant that we could not stay. We never did get any food.
