So my cousin and I worked Pride on the food truck and got hungry, but none of the other trucks were giving what they usually give. So we DoorDashed B. Nicole’s — first time trying it and babyyyy, let me tell you… WORTH 👏🏾 EVERY 👏🏾 PENNY 👏🏾 (even at $90).
Now let’s get into this food because—wow.
🥚 Deviled Eggs: 10/10. I’ve been hearing people talk about them, but the deviled eggs?! The yolk was creamy, the egg peeled perfectly, the shrimp still crispy with a hint of sweetness… flavor explosion in every bite.
🥠 Seafood Egg Rolls: 9/10. Still crispy when they got to me, stuffed with crab meat and shrimp. That sweet & spicy sauce? Caught me off guard 😅 — I thought it was sweet & sour, but it was definitely bringing the heat. If you like spicy, you’ll love it.
🍤 Shrimp Pasta: 10/10. The sauce-to-pasta ratio? Perfect. Shrimp in every bite. Toast buttery and golden like it had something to prove. Even reheated later that night, still bomb.
🐟 Cousin’s Salmon Pasta: 8/10 (her score, not mine). She said it was spicy — I tasted it, it wasn’t no damn spice in there 😭 she’s just dramatic.
💯 Overall: 9.5/10. Delivery was high, but everything was seasoned, cooked right, and packed with flavor. I’d do it all over again.

I’m trying to understand why foil is under every item.im having to remove it to warm the food up. It was even foil in the plastic container with the yams. Speaking of, the yams taste straight out of the can which is very disappointing to me. I would’ve never ordered them had I known that. Other than that,the food is seasoned good and tastes good.

Poor service, walked in and wasn’t greeted. The person who took my order i can’t remember her name had an attitude. i waited an hour for my food seen people who order the same thing as me get there food before me and I was there before them and when i got my food the wings were burnt and tasted burnt. Even though i waited for an hour i kindly asked could i at least get a refill of lemonade (i was aware the lemonade wasn’t free refills) just out of the fact that i received my food an hour later and was skipped multiple times i was told “nope”. I would’ve truthfully been better off just going to american deli but i wanted to try something new and have heard people talk about this place. Highly disappointed, wasn’t worth the wait even a little and I won’t be going back.

We decided to try this spot after seeing all the positive reviews online. The vibe is dark with green lighting, very pretty. No one greeted us, so we seated ourselves after waiting a few minutes. Service was slow, but it looked like the owner was doing everything herself, so we tried to be understanding. We ordered the seafood pasta, lamb chops, crab cakes, and deviled eggs. The food was barely warm but very flavorful. The lemonade was a bit too sweet for me, though my husband liked it. Overall, great food, but service and timing could be better.

I don’t mind spending a penny on food especially good food but the lamb chop Dinner was pricy but tooo seasoned whoever was in the kitchen today please ease up on the season overpowering you can’t enjoy it this was my first experience the reviews looked good the mash was the only thing good the broccoli wasn’t steamed enough it was still hard and salty I will still try again tho

I just got some macaroni and cheese to go just to check this place out and super cute little spot. Really enjoyed my mac and cheese so we will definitely be back to eat in a full meal.
If I could make one suggestion though, The mac and cheese to go came in a plastic box lined with foil... That makes reheating leftovers a little bit challenging, you can't put it in the microwave because of the aluminum foil, and you can't put it in the oven because it's in a plastic box so I guess you could put it in the oven on something else, but a lot of the mac and cheese sticks to the foil so it would be much easier to reheat leftovers in like a styrofoam cup or container or line the plastic box with parchment maybe? Really not a complaint, just a suggestion. I'm very picky about mac and cheese and this one is definitely a win for me and very conveniently located to my work and home. Can't wait to come try the rest of the menu

Went today 9/21/25. Ordered two oxtails plates and two turkey wing plates. So my review is mixed. Customer service was fine. Atmosphere was good. Music choice was a little to raunchy for my liking. Being over 50 listening to Cardi B talking about her body parts was not my cup of tea. The food was blah. We had the oxtails, not overly seasoned, which was good, and thoroughly cooked. That included the Mac and cheese along with the beans. Turkey wing plate had a complete tip and a flat cut in half. Most places give at least two complete pieces. Also food was cold. Cold like, it was refrigerated then heated up. The Mac and cheese was average. Cornbread was sort of dry but had potential if it was warm. The portion size is poor considering the price. Don't expect a Soul Food Bistro portion sized plate. Probably will not return however this place has potential.

Heard about this place on Tik Tok, little dark but plenty of seating,, they ran out of the turkey legs, but the lamb chops was on point. Lemonade was a little sweeter than I could handle but it too was OK in time. The salmon had an amazing crust worth going back for.
