Visually beautiful bar with African artifacts. It is off the Marriott main concourse lobby, which is like a museum of natural history with rocks and dinosaurs.

Baobab Bar was superb in all aspects! We traveled from AL for a weekend event - and I must say, the martinis were the BEST I have ever had. Our server Jason provided excellent service, delivering Garrett's amazing creation to us with care and friendliness. The service and atmosphere are center stage here so get your cameras ready! It's a visual feast. Well done!

A buddy and I were in the area about a month ago and stumbled in. First, the environment: This place has so many neat things to look at lining the walls and hanging from the ceilings. It was big enough to not feel cramped, but small enough to feel homey. Second, the staff: Sean, Adrianna, and Evie were 3 of the absolute best we had dealt with on our trip. They made the experience a 10/10 and were welcoming and funny. It was obvious they enjoyed being there, which makes for a great time. Third, the drinks: We asked them to surprise us for a few drinks, and they more than delivered. Each drink had a story, and each tasted better than the next. (You have to eat the honeycomb!) All in all, an absolute must-stop-by and check out out. I will be back.
Delicious food and great atmosphere. We loved everything about it and our server Azalea was wonderful and attentive.

We visited Baobab Lounge on Christmas night, and Azelia made our evening truly faboulus!
She was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we sat down.
What impressed us most was her deep knowledge of the menu. She took the time to ask about our favorite flavors and preferences, then curated the perfect recommendations for both me and my girlfriend. Every suggestion was spot on; the lamb meatballs and the dessert were both absolutely delicious.
To top it off, the Smoked Old Fashioned was hands down the best I’ve ever had! It’s rare to find that level of personalized service and quality, especially on a busy holiday. If you’re at Baobab, definitely ask for Azelia.

Rejoice for flavors abundant! Overjoyed that EVERY dish and drink we had was a treasure for the palate. The lamb meatballs, the chakalaka, and aaaah the malabar dessert were beyond divine. To top it off, Azalea is truly a gem. She is an attentive and lovely waitress. Her attention to detail contributes to the high quality of the restaurant and surrounds. Thank you!

This place is a must. With so many options in Savannah especially near this place this was a welcome spot away from all the touristic, fried, pub did is the area. The cocktails where great and the food had FLAVA. If this is what West African taste like, I am ready to book a trip. The art work deserves a review of it's own. I think more pictures have been taken here in one day than pictures of museums around the area. If I sound superlative is because this place deserves it

The best food I've had in a long time. I was apprehensive because when I entered from the hotel side, they just slid the gate open and didn't really greet anyone. However, when I asked someone they told me I could sit anywhere. I was immediately greeted and given the best recommendations. The food was phenomenal!!!!! I had 2 entrees, 1 dessert and 2 alcoholic drinks. Everything was a 10/10. I will definitely be returning! The service was also excellent! I couldn't be more pleased with this establishment!

We had such a wonderful experience at the Baobab Lounge. From the moment we walked in, the space felt beautifully curated; rich textures, warm tones, and thoughtful African-inspired decor that makes the whole lounge feel both elevated and inviting.
The highlight of the night was the exceptional service from Azalea. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel taken care of. Her hospitality added so much to the experience.
The food was just as memorable. The West African wings were packed with flavor, the Chickpea Lentil Hummus was delicious and perfectly seasoned, and the Malva Pudding for dessert was absolutely incredible; rich, comforting, and the perfect sweet finish.
If you’re visiting Plant Riverside District, Baobab Lounge is a must. Beautiful atmosphere, fantastic flavors, and service that truly stands out. Highly recommend!
Baobob has it all! Interesting and delicious food, African decor like a museum and our server Azalea was charming and efficient. We bring our out of town guests here to impress them with a unique Savannah experience. They never fail to impress!

This is a beautiful well thought out atmosphere. It takes you to the Serengette of Africa. Animal heads on e very wall. 2 real life size ostriches on the bar. A quiet setting lounge in the back full of elephant heads. I have not tried the food.
