There was no bouncer at the door when my friends and I went in, which was really odd to me and may or may not be related to my experience there. We went in and payed for the cup pong arcade game and were approached by some staff, I assume, and asked to leave. We were not given the opportunity to finish the game we paid for and thought this was really strange, as there really wasn't any business there on that Tuesday evening. I guess we should've listened to our local friends...

Not what it once was. The staff make, or break, the experience at a place like this….unfortunately she doesn’t add anything to the experience. It’ll be sad to see this place go. Hopefully it’s not on account of the staff. God bless!

The bar just showed me what the worst bar tender is in the world. Both foosball tables are broken for years, bad pool tables too. They don’t do anything to make customers feel better. If a bar makes you feel worse before you went in, then it’s a bad bar.

Went there tonight - 3/21. Wasn't busy and you'd think they'd appreciate the business. Nope. The bartender was a j**** When my husband asked what non-alcoholic beer they have, the bartender replied, "None. This is a real bar, dude." The funny thing is that oftentimes, Heineken 00 costs more than a "real beer" and my husband has had it in several places around Savannah this week. We walked out. The bouncer across the street told us that he hears nothing but complaints about Bar Bar's staff.

My boyfriend and I were so excited to go to this underground bar. Had my bf order me a drink while I went to the bathroom (gross), it was the wrong drink. The bartender was very rude about when I asked for just a little juice to mix with it. We also saw her tell someone she wasn't serving him because he ordered a club soda. Couple sitting next to us said they wanted a water, but didn't want to stop getting served- made sure they asked the other bartender for the water. I would never go back. (my drink was a vodka sprite with a splash of cranberry juice... she gave me a double vodka with a splash of sprite.)

Great little hide away bar for afternoon drinks or an awesome night of fun. Good drink prices and specials. Friendly staff. Cool atmosphere.

Didnt really feel welcomed and was trying to figure out drink selection with the bartenders. The bartenders didn't really want to help me on that part. Honestly, tons of better places to grab a drink on the riverfront.

Avoid this place! Bartender was SOO off putting. 6pm and already nothing on draft. All floors are sticky. Bathroom was in worse shape than a back alley and had a swarm of fruit flies! There are better places within 200 ft.

I liked this place. Underground but big and roomy. Miranda the bartender was a dark haired porcelain skinned beauty and nice as hell.

No stars, make sure you walk in slowly with your ID above head, and if you not wearing glasses idk what to tell you. Go Chiefs!

The atmosphere in the location is absolutely wonderful no doubt very cool place to hang out the service I was very disappointed there was a young female the night of November 17th around 10:00 I'm not on a budget or anything like that but I thought my bill was a little bit higher than normal for the two beers and two shots that I had and also my receipt was an itemized? And the whole time the bartender was on her phone looking over at customers with empty glasses and continued to text and conversate with her friends sitting at the bar. Felt spitefully ignored for no reason. I've never written a review before because I'm also im the service industry myself but her service honestly wasnt very welcoming. There was also a sign that said stated " The bartender is always right." Lol

Reasonably priced drinks, great bartenders! Cool basement bar playing upbeat music. Not a Martini bar! Enjoyed very much on our visit to Savannah!

Everyone knows the name but I’ll fill you in, go early take your slow time and enjoy great drinks, awesome bartenders, and a calm early cocktail in a clean true Savannah underground bar style. Best prices around, period. There are games, pool table, and money on the walls! The cleanest bar in Savannah. Solo girl at the bar.

Loved the vibe. The staff was chill and some of them engaged in conversation instead of just trying to serve and go. Later in the evening the bar opened up a small dance floor area with an additional bar that housed an eclectic group of people partying on a Saturday night. Only thing that might deter me from hanging out there again was the shooting that happened outside the bar. City Market, where the bar is located, had a sketchy vibe with a bunch of people hanging around and area and some were definitely looking for trouble. I would recommend staying by the river front bars where the crowd was a bit more chill.
