Holiday ambience is on point . Bartenders are grand . The chicken wings from the kitchen did not have not one ounce of salt . I sent them back. The pizza with lamb was a tasty bite.

It was on. The food was decent, and the decorations were cute. However, there are much better rooftop bars in Savannah.

First, the manager that waited on us was very good and accommodating - that was great. The taste of the food, the flavors, and the freshness of the fruit topping were all good. HOWEVER - A few things were "off" though: 1) I was handed a breakfast menu just before switching to brunch time and my menu had noticeable food/soiling on it on both sides. When I asked the host for a clean menu, she switched to the brunch but that menu also had a sticky mark on it. 2) When my wife joined and pulled the table toward her, she ended up putting her hand on something messy/sticky on her end of the table and on the side - not a good sign for proper cleaning. 3) The food was delivered barely warm - especially the French toast. My wife requested the maple syrup to be warmed up and they forgot to do that so she had cold French toast with room temp syrup. My avocado toast has a cold pouched egg on top. Overall, not a strong impression for this moderately pricey eating experience.
Was disappointed since we checked opentable for reservations knowing that many places would be closed for thanksgiving. Of the few places open for business Bar Julian was one so we were delighted to make a reservation. Upon arrival we were told the were closed and they had called which was not true at all.
Sera and Luna are both amazing and made our experience absolutely incredible and one we will never forget. I just proposed to my Fiancé and reserved a table for brunch on Sunday. Street parking in the numbered spots are free on Sundays! Finding the bar was fun; just ask the Valet service and they will point you in the right direction. We were sat in the best seat in the house, had great service, food was top notch and the view of Downtown Savannah was breath taking. Highly recommend this bar to anybody that wants to relax and enjoy their time in Savannah. Again, Sera was amazing, gave us all the time we wanted and even got some incredible pictures of us with the view of Downtown. We will be requesting her anytime we come back!

Great rooftop bar and lounge atop the Thompson hotel that over looks the Savannah River. Amazing views of downtown Savannah. A must stop in destination for cocktails if you’re staying in Savannah.

Bar Julian has done a terrific job of classic 70’s Christmas decor with a special menu and igloos. It looks like Woolworths with a view! Well done folks🎄

The avocado on the avocado toast did not taste fresh, which ruined what would have otherwise been a good breakfast. Gave the restaurant another try during another stay at the Thompson. Some of the food was good (the whipped feta was delicious), but the mushroom pizza had so much sautéed onion on it that all I could taste was the sweetness of the onions and not at all the mushrooms. Since I tend to stay at the hotel, I will probably give it another try and see if they can make the pizza without the onions... Perhaps the mushroom taste will stand out then. I really want to like this restaurant/bar since it is so convenient when staying there.

Bar Julian is an amazing restaurant with great staff. I died during their brunch hours and they had a great amount of food that catered to different types of cuisines! I would definitely recommend coming back

We didn't get the chance to actually attend the venue. We did receive much help and guidance from the house driver on the night of 10-26-25 to get to the Jo-Koy event. We are thankful to him for getting us to our event.Although we were unable to attend the venue, we received significant assistance and guidance from the house driver on the evening of October 26, 2025, in reaching the Jo-Koy event. We extend our gratitude for his support in ensuring our arrival.

I wasn't sure how to score Bar Julian, so if you're reading this, don't pay attention to my score. I wanted to get here to explain that my brunch reservation for 10am on a Sunday (for my husband's birthday) was cancelled at around 7-8pm on Saturday night. This is especially problematic in Savannah as brunch resys need to be made around a week ahead of time (at least, and in some cases further out) to make sure you're able to get in somewhere. No explanation on why it was cancelled. The place may be great--I'd like to try it sometime.
We sat outside in the lounge area and it was beautiful. The food was great and our server was so nice.
