Entered it smelled like cinnamon in the lobby. Delicious. Going up the elevator we were greeted kindly by the server into the bar. They even let us change our minds from dining outside to inside. The view was excellent, stretching very far. The food was very smooth, simple but ofc delicious flavors!! I recommend the falafel as an appetizer, all the food was great. The bartender and servers , even the manager were very kind. Very friendly. ask for their house made chili oil.

Bar Julian never fails to impress! I’ve been about 3 times and it’s always a great experience. Today, Sara took great care of my friend and I and we had the best experience. She recommended some wonderful snacks for us and was able to give local recs when we had to leave and wanted to find a good craft beer spot for to go brews. She was on top of making sure our drinks and bellies were full. Highly recommend! Also, the mezze platter is a MUST. I’ll be drooling over that bread for days.

We had breakfast today, served by Jess. She was friendly and efficient. We ordered the Eggs Benedict Pide & the latte, which was excellent and very filling kudos to the pastry chef and the French toast, flavors were on point, no salt and pepper needed. My only disappointment all though I understand the circumstances being a Saturday and it was raining was the wait time, I wasn't aware that you can make a reservation. So if you are in a hurry and there is a wait this place may not be for you. Otherwise everything was delicious.

Excited to stop in for drinks and apps this afternoon before an early dinner at the lobby restaurant. Disappointed all around. The interior space was heavily decorated for the holiday which is fine and many patrons were also dressed for the holidays! The space presents as cluttered, not just because of the holiday decor...bar area was sloppy and unkept. behind bar disheveled, dirty glassware and bottles lined up everywhere. Space also very dirty, specifically the entry area floor wet and sticky with me tracking whatever it was on my feet to the elevator and through the lobby, kind of nasty. Bar staff needs improvement too. We decided to leave after the first drink also adjusting plans to dine elsewhere. Ugh, a handsome property with great potential and a high end first impression, but much being missed (at least this afternoon). Understaffed, undertrained, under inspired...who knows, but why do I even need to think about that? Will not return.

The food was fantastic but the bartenders and waitresses all made it known that they didn’t want to be there. I understand maybe they can deal with tough customers that make them feel that way but interactions with bartenders and waitstaff make or break an experience. Views were great but I don’t know if I’d go back based on them. I was disappointed because I was so excited to try the place.

We went for drinks with our sons, who we are visiting. Bar Juilan was decorated for Christmas, and they did a food job of it. Definitely go there and take in the view. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
