My husband and I are frequent customers at Bar Julian because we truly cannot get enough of the whipped feta with bread, which keeps us coming back, but this most recent visit was confusing and disappointing due to the service. We made reservation for 10:15am for breakfast. Arrived and it was closed. Sign said it opened at 11am for “Brunch”. When we got in the were only serving lunch. We would not have wasted our time waiting around if we would have known that. Also a wasted trip for them to not be open when we had a reservation. I get it's a holiday but clearly communication was a real issue here. Staff didn't care at all about the miscommunication. Won't be back.

Holiday ambience is on point . Bartenders are grand . The chicken wings from the kitchen did not have not one ounce of salt . I sent them back. The pizza with lamb was a tasty bite.
