The worst dining experience in the city of Savannah. The service and food are equally awful — better yet, shocking, for this neighborhood in particular. This was my first time eating here and I will never let my family go back. I waited twelve minutes in line just to be acknowledged while the manager chatted with her friend standing behind me and was asking to get her daughter a job there. Once I finally ordered and got to the register to pay, the manager started yelling at her staff, accusing them of getting orders incorrect and talking about how she wanted to leave early (in front of seven other customers). THEN when we asked the checkout girl about the queso we ordered, the manager ran over and told her "No, we don't have any more queso. That's for the online orders." It was almost laughable. No queso left for customers paying in person but enough for UberEats — sure. Then we finally asked for chips and the manager grabbed a handful of crumbs from the big white bin behind her and dumped them in a bag. It was ridiculous.This was my first time eating here so I didn't know what to expect. I was told this location typically has great food and a fun, family staff who'd been there for years. That's clearly no longer the case seeing as everyone looked miserable (including us by the time we left). Overall, don't waste your time or money at this Barberitos location. There are plenty of other dining options in the area...though, I guess, if you really love queso, order online ahead of time.

I just moved from Athens and am a huge barberitos fan and am so disappointed in this experience. Ordered online and was missing half of the ingredients that were supposed to be there and others were wrong. The tofu seemed raw and unseasoned (which I generally say barbs tofu is my favorite!). If you’re familiar with the chain, this one isn’t up to par. If you’re not, know barberitos in other cities is so so much better

Restaurant is absolutely disgusting. Did an online order for a 12” burrito and a “mini” burrito. Got there and they didn’t even have steak which is what I had ordered. Asked for ground beef instead and they’re out of that too. Asked for a refund for the one (12”) burrito and they told me no. Told me I HAD to get either ground turkey or chicken. Paid $38 for two burritos and they are both practically empty and not to mention ICE COLD when I picked them up. Do NOT recommend them. I will never be back.

Ordered Uber eats because I didn’t want to leave the house. I get the order delivered perfectly. The food however was not pleasing. My salsa and salad dressing were missing. The cheese dip has crusted up burnt cheese in it, it’s also hard as a rock.I had to drive to the restaurant to ask for my salsa and dressing.I was told that the salsa was “over there”. No. You need to get it for me. Both associates gave me attitude like it was my fault they messed up.I ordered from here occasionally but I can promise you I’ll never order from here again.

Seems like y'all got new people working and they're all super nice, restaurant was really clean, I haven't tried my food yet but it looks really good but I appreciate how nice the staff is. Chipotle is a complete shitshow and I've never liked their food anyway but even if I did I would come here over there just because of the difference in service.Edit:Been going to barberitos off and on for over a decade and I can say it's a noticable difference! Came back in to get salsa and leave tip in jar. Food tasted great, best it's been in awhile! Thanks again!

This was my first time here and what brought me here was the mango salsa which most taco places don’t sell it. I enjoyed it and was happy to have that choice! The ingredients tasted fresh. I would come back! My only bad review would be on the training of the staff the poor boy that helped me seemed really nervous and when he asked for help from the blonde head lady (I’m assuming the manager). She seemed to busy running around and pond him off on somebody else and everybody else seemed like they were too busy. Keep in mind I went during a slow time of 3:30. Aside from that the people there were not bad and didn’t seem like they had attitudes or were rude. Just a bit to busy to help him out and make sure he had it through the whole process.If the company reads this I would also say to put a little less salt on your chips they were a bit to salty for my taste.Edited: the review from Kevin 7 months ago is still true about the serving trays and checking out. The awkwardly handed me tacos in this small box that could not close so I had to carry it open to my table with a container of queso and chips in the other hand. Was not happy about that either.

This place has really gone down hill. I decided to give this location one more chance. Placed a take out order vs ordering on door dash because my order has been wrong the last two times I ordered with a delivery service. Arrived around 6:35pm. Started to place my order and the man working told me they were out of steak. I was willing to wait but he said they were out for the night……Scheduled hours showed they were open until 9. I won’t be wasting my time again.

This was my first and maybe my last time coming here. The service was okay, I ordered a quesadilla that was supposed to come with sour cream and salsa … it didn’t. the worst thing was the fact that they threw the chips on top of my food… which were crumbs.

The only reason I rated 2 stars is because the young man that rang me up had a great attitude and was very friendly! I felt sorry for him because the other 2 girls behind the counter had very bad attitudes and seemed miserable to be there. I work close by and used to eat here frequently. The last 2 times the portions have become ridiculously small. Initially I ordered a burrito bowl and the girl proceeded to fill a small 1/4 size to go box out. When I inquired about the box she began trying to convince me “it holds the same amount as the clear box, as the smaller box is deeper and the larger clear box is more shallow”. So I responded “ if they are the same size, then give me the clear one”. She said “no I can’t do that but they hold the same amount”. IF they held the same amount then why would it matter? Simple….because they don’t! So I decided on the nachos instead. That ended up being a to go box full of crushed up chips. The meat was cold and VERY SKIMP! They were out of sour cream and the verde salsa from the salsa bar was soured. Thank goodness I tasted it before pouring it all over my crushed up nachos. The restaurant was not very clean.

Went in to order some food. Never ate here before. I came in, They were not busy. One customer that had already ordered. I stood in the place to start my order. The employees, 3 of them all looked at me, however said nothing. I waited about 3 more minutes when the girl walked to the area i was at i said hi she looked up grabbed a box, walked away. I said excuse me is this where i order? She looked at me quick and turned away. The customer said, yeah, you are in the right spot. I said never mind and left.Why do your employees look at customers and not acknowledge them, especially when I'm trying to ask a question to just ignore customers is rude.I guess I'll never try this place!
