I really wanted brisket today and sadly I was disappointed. Not only was the brisket not sliced as brisket should be, it was diced. I imagine it’s their way of cutting corners and charging the same price. The flavor was good however the diced brisket was quite dry. Our food was not hot but more room temperature. I placed a pick-up order by phone for me and my family. Everything was good, food wise. I ordered chicken fingers, red rice, and a large sweet tea for myself. My family members ordered the four wing special with collard greens and potato salad and the Barnes burger with a cup of green beans. The cashiers on the take-out side need a lesson on customer service. I'm not saying you have to be overly friendly, but at least be respectful.
We had Barnes cater a corporate event and they did such a phenomenal job. The food was hot and delicious. Oysters were salty and perfection. The staff was great and Hugh himself was very hands on and involved. Would recommend to anyone needing catering for an event to reach out to Barnes. We will definitely use them again. Great job!
