Basils Pizza & Deli

Ok so the pretzel and beer cheese is a must! But even more so is their chicken parm grinder!!! Sooo yummy!! Then their beer cheese and bacon fries, broccoli pasta salad, any pizza (really!)... Just visit!!

Fried chicken sandwich - fantastic

Fried chicken sandwich is amazing. It’s loaded with bacon and jalapeños. I got the beer cheese on the side bc I wasn’t sure if it was going to be a thin, synthetic sauce but it was outstanding.

Our salads came out 20 mins after my sandwich. The Greek salad had thick, haphazardly cut cucumbers and tomatoes and the Caesar was ok.

Service was disappointing. We waited 30 mins to place our order after receiving our appetizer and waited 20 mins to receive our salad after our entree was brought out. Then we were rushed to pay and sign the receipt when we could have left much earlier if service had been attentive and we hadn’t just received the rest of our meal.

We spent an hour and a half here on a Monday during lunch. I’ll definitely return but I think I’ll take it to go.

I haven't had the pleasure of dining here, but I was just informed that one hell of a chef is working at this fine establishment and cannot recommend his cuisine enough. If big Tom's cookin, get ya grub on. 10/10 recommend you will not be disappointed! Will definitely make my way to this location to get some of that grub!!

We have loved Basil’s for years! It is always delicious. Shout out to the staff tonight for being extra helpful when dealing with a delivery order. Special thanks Lindsay for going above and beyond—you rock! Food was great, got here quickly and everyone in the family was happy—which is no small feat! Cheers, Basil’s!

The best pizza hands down that I’ve ever had. And this is from someone who visits NYC 2-3 times a year. When you’re in Tybee Island, be sure to take the short ride over to Johnny Mercer Blvd and experience it.

Stopped in for lunch. As others have said the service was slow , we should be used to lack of staff by now, same everywhere. Had the fried chicken sandwich, it was great. My absolute favorite was the beer cheese, got some to go. Gabby was a great server! The biggest problem was the to go orders seemed to get priority. But. I spent more time chatting with my mom.

Best hangout on Wilmington Island. The foods always delicious. They have great live music several times a week. Tyler and Josh are two of the best bartenders around.. definitely a place you want to check out

I absolutely love this place. The lasagna was delicious, as was the bread that came with it. The bread was right out of the oven and just incredible. Madison who was our waitress was fabulous, she was just incredible and a total joy, she is a gem! Our party of 4 couldn’t have been happier. The blueberry -lemon cheesecake was just as incredible as everything else we tasted tonight. I am so happy to write a review for this place, will definitely come back before we leave for home!!

We were in the area and looking for a local restaurant that was also pet friendly as we had our pup with us. This was one of the best pizzas I have had. I used to manage two pizza stores and I know good fresh pizza. The service was great and the over all visit was worth the stop.
