My wife and I had dinner here last night, and it was incredible. I got the spaghetti and meatballs and she ordered the chicken parm. Both were phenomenal! Also our salad starter was delicious and the breadsticks were fantastic. Service was great and atmosphere fits the bill! We will be back soon!

First-time customer looking for a decent pizza (domiciled in New England living part of the year in Savannah). First of all, the overhead lighting consisted of spot lights directed in the faces of customers. Group of four seated next to me moved tables because the light was directly in one couple's eyes. Ordered a pepperoni pizza with a small house salad. Lettuce was brown .....didn't expect much in terms of the pizza (tough to find good pizza south of the Mason-Dixon line) but their version really was not good. Proprietors obviously don't know that pizza is not made with spaghetti sauce. Crust was ok but nothing special. Pepperoni topping was ample and standard. Waitress was very attentive. Place was busy on a Tuesday night in early March. Maybe their Italian dishes are tasty but their pizza certainly isn't.

We heard about them for years, finally tried them. Very short wait to get in. Tortellini was excellellent, as was the Penne with sausage. The bread was worth noting as well. We will be back (pizza next time).

We ordered the party trays to go. We worked with Joyce and she was very accommodating. We had a party of 14, and I would have over ordered without her help. We were on a very strict timetable, and she was able to meer it. The food in each tray was plentiful and tasted very good. The only downside was Bella's doesn't deliver, but everything worked out just fine.

Great restaurant & staff. Get there early. We arrived at 4.30 pm.
Aside from the food, a bad experience from start to finish. Our waitress never gave us more than five minutes without rushing us on to the next course or decision. It felt hurried the whole time, even the removing and setting of plates. We wanted a nice evening to sit and talk and enjoy our food, but we were prevented that because of the fast pace.When it came time to pay, they said our gift card wasn’t activated, so we’d have to pay a different way. Since when is it the responsibility of the purchaser or recipient of a gift card to activate it? They said it wasn’t “in their system.” If it wasn’t put in the system at the time of purchase, that’s a fault of the restaurant. Our realtor gave us that gift card three months ago, so even if I didn’t think it would be rude to ask him for the receipt, I doubt he’d have it. Do they honestly think he or us are trying to scam them with a fake gift card?Bella’s got an extra 92 dollars last night, unearned, and it’s the last money they’ll get from me.

I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant on my recent visit! The food was amazing and the complimentary bread was to die for! The service was excellent and the dinner experience was fun and very enjoyable! I will definitely be back!

The food was not what I remembered. Everything was just off. Seasoning was either over or under seasoned. Service was good but no longer my favorite Italian spot in Savanah.
My family and I enjoyed a lovely meal here. The chicken alfredo with mushrooms and spinach was delicious. My husband also praised the baked ziti with vodka sauce.The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was nice. We had a large party of 8 and were able to get right in.

My husband and I came here for an early Valentine’s dinner using a gift card from our friend and realtor upon moving to the area. We enjoyed our food, and our server was kind and attentive. A good experience until we went to pay, and was told our gift card was not activated and our only option was to contact whoever bought it for a receipt to prove it had money on it. It put us in the awkward position of having to pay for the meal when we didn’t expect to, as we were not going to contact our friend to –prove– he had purchased the card (which was several months ago anyway). We were disappointed with the lack of customer service and the tracking of purchased gift cards. We won’t be returning anytime soon. Surely this could be done better.

Overall: average food, bad service. There’s better places.I had a subpar birthday experience at Bella’s cafe. The food was very bland. Very little flavor or creativity with a pasta plate. Simply pasta sauce and meat. I’m certain you could make a better pasta at home. Seems the owner and management try their best to cut costs at the expense of their customers experience. Service alone was average. You won’t see your waiter more than twice. Management shrugged their shoulders and gave snark remarks such as, “why did you order it then” at a request to remove an untouched item off the bill. Understandably I’ve worked in the restaurant industry, and the answer is sometimes no. There is absolutely a way to have that conversation and still allow for all parties to remain dignified in a conversation.

Great food, great staff. They do need to work on keeping cleaner utensils and plates. The bean soup is great as an appetizer. Very accommodating to special request on any of their dinners (I enjoy veal without the cheese and sauce drenched over it and they come through every time).
