Throw back to the '40s. Really good burgers and fries. The root beer floats can't be beat. There is plenty of parking at the city park less than a half block away.

Friendly service and really excellent food. My burger was perfectly grilled and stacked with fresh toppings. The BBQ sandwiches were pretty terrific and the kids’ menu had something for each of our littles to enjoy. Fun stuff available to keep small hands busy while waiting for food. WWII-era music and fun armed forces decor made for a great atmosphere. 10/10 recommend for casual burgers with kids while visiting the city.

I love Betty Bombers!. Yes, the food is a bit heavy but it's a Diner. The history, artwork and atmosphere is so fun! I loved looking through all the Aviation books and studying the planes. A burger with fries, a milkshakes and a Coca-Cola in glass is a great lunch after a morning of work! It's hard to pick which burger I liked the best.
Recently food and service has gone downhill. Kitchen made a simple mistake and upon returning I was met with gaslighting and attitude from the front of house workers.
Messed up our take out order which is not a big deal but I feel like the way it was handled was. My friend’s burger had the pineapple salsa on her burger but she did not order that. When we went back to get it fixed he told us that salsa comes on her burger but the paper menu we ordered off of and the menu online does not say that. Mine was supposed to have the pineapple salsa so I think maybe it was just switched around. Anyway the guy wasn’t super apologetic about it and it was off putting. I was not rude at all about the mix up and I have worked at restaurants for 6 years so I get it, stuff happens. It just would have been nice for him to seem to slightly care, they also kept our food just to throw it out when I could have at least given it to my dog or eaten it instead of it going to waste. My new corrected order was still wrong with raw onions instead of grilled, but he seemed so inconvenienced by our mix up that I just wanted to leave.
