Now there are a bunch of great places to eat in Savannah, but this one should be near the top. First off, I'm a barbecue fan. Right off the bat I can tell you their pulled pork and their brisket are fantastic. The baked beans are a whole meal by themselves and probably some of the best I've ever had. The peach tacos are ridiculously good tasting too. The price is fair, quantities are really decent and the staff are great. Excellent location as well, no matter what time of the day. I've been only a few times but every trip to town for work, this is a place we wrap up the week at!

Very down to earth place, the server was friendly, one star goes to them. Table was wobbly and sticky. Food takes a long time to come, you’d think it was going to be something great. NO, amount of food and the presentation was not worth it! $13 pork sandwich with buns almost white, set on top of newspapers print paper, tasted ok. $11 for 2 tocos with a few fried shrimp with some chopped tomato cubes, sorrier looking then some fast food restaurant - which I wish I did! I don’t understand how it gets a 4 star review.

This will be my first and last time going here.The 3 stars are for the friendly service. The food(approximately 30 mins) took forever to come out, and when we got the nachos the meat was cold. The types of barbecue sauces all had similar flavors. Overall the food was okay, the street corn was probably the best item on the menu.

I wanted to try and call in a dinner order for pick up but no one answered the three times that I called. I went online to the website and saw that I could place my order there. After I placed my order it asked for my phone number And email address which I filled out and payment. We waited about 25 minutes before heading there (about a 10 - 15 minute drive). I went inside to pick up my food and she told me yeah we are out of everything you ordered.... I asked why no one had called me to let me know before I drove all the way there and she claimed they don’t have my number..even though the website asked me for it. She then told me I would have to talk to the manger at the bar to get a refund. I walked to the bar and asked the manger why no one had picked up the restaurants phone when I called seeing as they only had two smalls tables. She ignored me continued to talk to her male friend. She unapologetically handed me a receipt and told me I’ll see my money back in 48 hours.

Food was very tasty, table service was okay, prices were great! Patrons were playing corn hole in the parking lot after eating. The entire restaurant is open air which was nice on a pleasant fall evening.
Great place to eat some southern food. Nice outdoor eating place and music. There is no air conditioning just fans so it can get really hot during the summer. But over all good customer service and food.

Where do I begin. I had high hopes when I came here and was disappointed. I ordered waffle fries and there was a hair of which manager tried to convince me it was not hair. Then I ordered ribs and beans and found collard green in my beans which manager tried to convince me was garnish but waitress said greens are next to beans so likely fell in. I sent food back but kept fried pickles of which I found another hair. I didn't bother to let them know. I just asked for my check and left. The 2 star rating is because they did decide in the end to comp the meal. That redeemed them.

I have always raved about this place and spoken highly about it especially when they were still at the MLK location. The menu has slightly changed, becoming more hip. We recently went to the new location on vacation and ordered the two person platter. Brisket as always is amazing and moist, but the portion on the platter was ridiculous and not enough for two people to share. Fried pickles are always my favorite, still as amazing as ever. Smoked chicken was ok, the ribs however were so dry and chewy and definitely not how they used to taste at the old location. And the fries were way too salty and cold! When we come back we will not get the two person platter again as no one should pay that much money for super dry ribs. I was disappointed, however since I have high hopes we will be back to try other options hoping the next time we won't be as nearly disappointed.
