Stayed here for a friend’s wedding. Hotel room smelt of mildew and the hallways smelt of marijuana. It was overall an okay stay- a bit overpriced. Main issue- I was double charged for my room. I was able to contact the hotel through my credit card and they stated they would issue a refund. It has been two weeks and the charge has not been refunded. Now I am trying to contact the hotel directly, but the front desk number does not work. The online phone number is an AI that can only assist with reservations. I was able to get a live representative from the reservation department they were only able to give me the same non working hotel phone number and one representative hung up on me and one cursed at me. This has been a terrible experience. I have stayed at a lot of Marriott Bonvoy properties and was considering getting their credit card for our future stays. Looks like that is not happening. This is a simple issue that should have been resolved quickly. I can’t even imagine the run around you might get if you had an issue with their card. I was finally able to get ahold of the corporate complaints department they were also unable to contact their own hotel. They started an “investigation” but will need 5-7 business days to complete it. This was a pretty large charge. I am doing fine, but someone else may not have been able to buy groceries or make rent because of this and Marriott is taking their time. Guess they are “too big” to worry about one customer. No wonder people are turning to AirBnB and VRBO. I’m a “silver” member and I WILL NOT be working my way to platinum like I had planned to. I will do everything in my power to avoid these properties from now on(myself and my husband travel often for work) I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The customer service is non-existent and the hotel itself was very underwhelming. There are a lot of places to stay in the area- and this is the farthest away on the riverfront. Save your sanity- it’s worth it to pay more somewhere else.

Great customer service. This restaurant has the best cheese Grits. Our waitress VaKisha was the best. She made sure we were OK from the time we sat down until we left.

WAY overpriced. French toast was fine, but nothing special, and even a bit subpar. Definitely not $22 worth of special. Would not go back.

What don’t I recommend? Leaving your room unattended. You should not have to worry about leaving your items in your room at a Marriott. Do better!

We came in at 10:50 and staff was still kind. They were quick and we were on our way.

Dirty mug of burnt, cold coffee delivered slowly, despite ample staff and few other guests. Much worse than your average diner, and about 4x as expensive. $11.50 for cereal and milk delivered indifferently?!

Nice restaurant inside the marriot riverfront hotel. Breakfast buffet was delicious. The lady making omelets, did an excellent job! The blueberry pancakes was delicious as well.

The location was ideally and the staff was warm and welcoming. Lenora was Welled informed with suggestions for places to tour. The breakfast room staff was friendly and the service was excellent. Our server Rajani , greeted us with a warm smile and immediately introduced herself and continued to check to see if we needed any thing. What a remarkable experience.

Cool spot to hangout inside the Marriott Savannah Riverfront Hotel. We were not able to watch the Thursday night NFL game, but the atmosphere was nice. Apparently, either the restaurant can’t access Prime Video to watch the Thursday night game or the bartender didn’t know how to find it.

Stopped in here for a quick bite and everything was super fresh with a great selection. Our waitress Rose was awesome and very attentive! Looking forward to coming back again soon!

would not recommend at all…. $25 for eggs, toast, potatoes and bacon… toast was hard as a rock and eggs were undercooked. ordered chocolate milk and it never came…. plus our waitress could’ve used an attitude adjustment. you can find much better food for a cheaper price with better service literally anywhere else.

In the Marriott Riverfront, breakfast was fair, $20 for bacon, potato and eggs, had to ask for the juice that went with the breakfast. Bagal and coffee was $10, breakfast for 3 was $51, 2 had bagles and coffee. Definatly a business hotel and people's companies are paying for the food. We did have good service.
