We had such a wonderful experience thanks to our waiter, Chris From the moment we sat down, [he/she/they] was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly without ever being overbearing. Chris knew the menu inside and out and made excellent recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. Our drinks were always refilled, the timing of each course was perfect, and he checked in just the right amount. It’s rare to find someone who makes dining out feel so easy and enjoyable chris truly elevated our evening. Highly recommend asking for chris if you visit!

Dwayne was amazing. We had the daily special, swordfish and grits. The pairing was the best. The bread was also outstanding. Almost perfect crunch to soft ratio with delectable whipped butter to go with! Would highly recommend sitting outside weather permitting

Outstanding food and specials, had the lamb and the shrimp and grits with a great wine pairing, delicious pecan chocolate pie dessert. Service was great and ambiance was perfect, enough people that it felt like a spot to be, but not too crowded or noisy.

The shrimp and grits were amazing. Little salty but still amazing They brought us three chicken breast for our dogs. The bacon ranch shrimp appetizer was delicious. The bouillabaisse was good except they were out of clams so they substituted with swordfish. The dipping sauce for the sweet potato waffle fries was amazing.

Stumbled into this place and was pleasantly surprised!! Awesome food, Awesome service, Awesome ambiance... Just wow! Chris was our server and he took care of our party of 9... Everyone fell in love with him and his attention to detail. All 9 of us were in shock at how delicious the food was! We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Savannah!! Keep up the good work Boar's Head team because in this era, your level of quality is RARE!!!!

Down at River street for a vacation, tried this place out, our server Chris was fantastic!! The experience was awesome!!! The shrimp and grits was delicious, as was my wife’s burger, and mom’s fish and chips. Based on this one visit, I’d definitely recommend.

We had a reservation, the hostess seated us promptly. Chris our waiter was pleasant, took our drink order, came back and explained the specials. We had the salmon with the peach bbq sauce, excellent. It came wit grits and they were the best. Also had the bouillbase with shrimp, mahi, and local clams. Sooo good, along with the bread for dipping.we will be back!

The She crab bisque was to die for. Compliments to the chef. The staff is welcoming and attentive. A great place to stop in if your on River street. Everyone in the group enjoyed their meal.

Dined in last night 10/11 and had to leave a great review. I have nothing but great things to say about last night starting with our server Christopher, he was great so attentive and friendly made me and my wife feel right at home. He treated us like family and made sure we had top notch service. From recommendations on food and drinks(all of which were spot on) to checking on us so regularly we thought there’s no way he’s able to provide this level of attention to everyone, but he was every time we saw him with other tables they lit up when he was there. Christopher made the night no doubt and we will be back 1000%. The food is good the location is on river street and the have a gem of a man working there to boot, we could have asked for more. Thanks again to Christopher, if anyone is thinking of trying Boars Head may you be lucky enough to get him!
