Excellent service and meal. Three of us had the filet which was cooked perfectly. The other entree was the pork chop with peach chutney. Another winner! We will definitely be back!

Both meals were excellent. The best salmon I have ever had. The peach barbecue sauce gave it great flavor. Steak was not cooked correctly but was resolved immediately. Server left a lot to be desired but food quality taste and price was excellent.

The tuna fresh catch was well prepared and good. The pork chop very good . The sweet potatoes not so good, odd seasoning. The steak was cooked perfectly to order at med rare. Hummus was very good. I could not recommend the stuffed very small shrimp or the pasta. Service was slow.

The location and ambiance was perfect. My wife's dinner was awesome, my bone in braised pork chop was very tough. I was comped by getting a free dessert but would have rather had a good pork chop.

We arrived a bit early for our reservation but was seated right away. We had a great table overlooking the river. The food was quite delicious prepared with care. Service was excellent as well. Definitely will return soon!

Food, service and staff were great. We had the shrimp and grits which was delicious as was the pork chop with mango and sweet potato.

Prompt seating at reservation time, waitress went above and beyond explaining specials, it was our lucky night as they had ribs as a special. They were some of the best I've had, my wife got the pork chop, it was huge, cooked perfectly with a peach chutney. Service, food and atmosphere were excellent, highly recommend.

Server - great! Food - delicious! Fried green tomatoes, salmon and grits amazing! Sangria - delightful! Inside temperature in room by kitchen - not good. Need to have a cooler temp.

Maya

We loved the spicy sauce on the fried green tomatoes so much we purchased a bottle to take home!

Incredible experience from crab cake appetizer, shrimp and grits main and finished off with creme brulee. Sangria's were delicious as well. Compliments to full staff.

Boar's Head Grill was the highlight of our 3 day trip to Savannah. I had the Shrimp and Grits and my wife a Fillet. Both dishes were wonderful. An unexpected bonus was their freshly baked, unique bread...delicious. We had a window table with a view of the Savannah River and that, along with the general ambiance, was spectacular. Service was superb. We arrived nearby by ferry but parking is available at two lots, one across the street and another a very short walk away. Boars Head tops our list on any return trips to Savannah.

We were there an hour with no food. Drinks were just okay and steeply priced. Bread was decent. Waitress offered specials and did not remember prices. Came back with prices, and we ordered. Came back later to say one special was $26, not $24, and asked us if we wanted more drinks. She returned again to ask us about another drink order, so we told her we were done after 1 hour without food. Bad experience. We were lucky to find 2 seats at the bar at Vic's.
