Stopped in for a quick lunch. If you like everything deep fried, to a crisp, then go right in. Otherwise just walk on. The service was just rude & slow. food was a lot of fries with too much salt / burned, and small portions. You deserve better.

Our experience wasn’t the worst but wasn’t best either. We had the crab cake appetizer which was very tasty but it was only 1 small cake. Shrimp and grits didn’t have much flavor, just a hint of the andouille sausage flavor but mostly bland. The crème brûlée was good but the raspberry topping seemed more like a syrup than a raspberry reduction sauce. Our server was very sweet but the chairs were very uncomfortable.

Stopped in for our last night in Savannah after an action packed day of sight seeing including a trip out to Tybee. We were starving and noticed this place and its good reviews so went with it. So glad we did! The burgers smelled so good at their open grill we couldn’t resist and went for them. So good and hit the spot. Service was right on too. Full staff including expeditors, kitchen, servers and host were all hustling with a smile. This place is getting it right.

Just about perfect. Our meal was absolutely delicious, and our server was friendly and attentive. The nearly 250 year old building by the river was also a very unique location. Prices are entirely reasonable.I can honestly say this was one of our most enjoyable meals ever. The JD chocolate pecan pie was a tasty finish.Absolutely recommended.

Chicken Piccata had no taste, chicken was burnt, very greasy. The shrimp and grits were more like shrimp and mashed potatoes but I have to say good. The biscuits were cold and dry. I don’t know if we hit an off night but would never go back.

I want to start by saying thanks Kevin! I could tell you love what you do and your energy is strong; some might think too strong but it's good to be original. I would say the food is above average and 4 stars is not a bad thing; it's all about your pasts experiences so somewhat subjective. The waffle sweet potato fries were great, the burger was good but a little off the ordered temperature and the desert I ordered was not available. Atmosphere is historic and right in front of the river, make sure you have a view of a window.

Had the shrimp tacos. Wife wanted shrimp on her salad instead of chicken. That was a No-Go. Not sure why that was forbidden?

Exceptional dining experience. Fare is as good as at any other establishment in Savannah. The chef staff takes pride in what they prepare. Service from Catherine was superior. Don't hesitate to book a table before you go. It's busy for many reasons. My family and I loved it and are coming back. Most highly recommended.

Great atmosphere and great service. This is in a popular area of town with good views. It very much has old England vibes. Some of the food was great and some was meh. I don’t recommend the oysters Rockefeller or she-crab soup. The split pea soup was great although don’t expect your typical split pea. The fish and chips was fantastic and I highly recommend ordering it.

Our time here was quiet and enjoyable. Great food options and grits to die for. (Personally I don't even like grits)
