Watched the chef transition from a bucket of soap and cleaning counters to cooking/touching food without changing out gloves. Bacon with a side of cleaner is not my idea of a good breakfast.

We came last year and it was great, this year, there was a difference and I can't put my finger on it, but we didn't want to eat here the next day, if that says something.
P.S. I know it's the beach but when you say you open at 7 am and leave us out there until 715 with knats, not ok.

We simply enjoyed our brunch at Breakfast Place! The food was delicious, our server Aiden was polite with excellent customer service and the atmosphere was pleasant. We received our food quickly and everything was yummy!! The seafood omelette was sensational and was loaded with shrimp and scallops. The pancakes were fluffy and quite tasty. My husband and I will definitely go back to Breakdast Place the next time we're in Savannah!

I would like to say something better about this place but I can't.

I could barely eat my breakfast. Everything was so salty. Grits, eggs and bacon. The only edible part of my meal was the rye toast.

The service was outstanding.

Food sucked. You definitely pay for what you get.

Won't be eating here again.

Our journey to this place happened because of the really poor IHop down the street. By the time we made it to the breakfast place we were all starving and shocked because of what we just witnessed at IHop. The breakfast place was such an upbeat establishment with workers that are so kind. Our food was super cheap and really yummy! Their pancakes are better than IHop anyways ?. Thank you “The Breakfast Place” for our wonderful experience. We are not locals, but we will be sure to visit you again next trip!

This is my first time ever writing a review but I must due to the terrible experience I had at this establishment while visiting Savannah for a friends birthday. My friend chose this breakfast spot after seeing it had a good rating on google so I looked at a few pictures of the food options and agreed to go. Upon arriving we had to seek out the host/waitress on our own just to be seated. Our waitress was nice she seated us and took our drink orders right away and it all went downhill from there. I ordered coffee and iced tea, the coffee had a HORRIBLE sour taste to it I couldn’t drink it so I asked the waitress to take it away. I then took a sip of my tea which was ENTIRELY TOO SWEET! I kept it out of not wanting to be constantly complaining and I thought maybe the ice would eventually help once it melts. Next our food came (it came in a timely manner considering the crowd). My friend ordered an omelet but when it came to the table it looked more like a large loaf of bread. I had to ask him what the heck it was that smh. To add insult to injury the omelet hardly had any fillings. It was so overcooked he ate less than half of it (he also didn’t want to be rude complaining customer smh). The side of grits he ordered was disappointing small so he was still hungry after eating what he stomach of his meal. I ordered pancakes and scrambled eggs which were nothing to write home about. I was just so disappointed that the reviews on this place were so misleading. I’ll never understand how so many people seem to think this is a decent place to eat. I will NEVER come back. Hate that we wasted time and money here. That’s it.. that’s my rant.
