Good food. . Not amazing. Attentive service. Just another restaurant serving southern food. Had the crab dip- mediocre. Fried chicken was good but didn’t love the sous vide portion. Biscuits okay. Gravy not good. Broccoli overpriced and not buttered as advertised. Strawberry pie was okay - like a basic grandma made. Overall decent.

I just went their today and my food was amazing. Like you can get a $60 dollar platter that feeds 4 ppl. If you do that, you can have the fine dining experience you want without burning a hole in your wallet.

Lord of the Rings is playing on the TV, the best fried chicken you’ve ever had is getting slung out at a rapid pace, what’s not to love? Such a great vibe here, locals and families alike. Worth a stop if you’re in town.

Some of the most painfully expensive food in Savannah. Yes there are 5 star restaurants all over Savannah, but this place is actually pretending that 4 pieces of fried thighs and two grilled chicken breasts and a chicken salad is worth $59. I am so sick of these needlessly expensive restaurants pretending that the cost of food is true to the value they claim. $15 for a chicken sandwich that with NO sides? $3.60 for a SINGLE oyster? What are they coming out of state on a first class flight? The "Sour Hour" is only an hour long and only applies to a handful of drinks and you can only take advantage of it if you SIT AT THE BAR! This severely limits how many people in the restaurant can even participate in it, it was calculated to make sure they wouldn't lose too much money, which is clearly what this restaurant is all about. Pork and beans for $11?? 1 biscuit for $4? That is an absolute insult to advertise in the South. This is a city where the average yearly wage is $35,000 dollars. We don't need more restaurants that serve mediocre food for NY prices. No more $17 ramen, no more $30 for HALF a chicken, nor more <$3.50 oysters.

Fried chicken and fancy seafood is a perfect way to describe Brochu's but doesn't do justice to how good the food, service, and drinks are. We had oysters two ways (dry rubbed and grilled), the cheddar rillette, a "half bird", plus drinks and dessert... Everything was perfect. We plan to come back every time we're in Savannah. Thank you to everyone at Brochu's!

Had an okay time at Brochu's. Fried chicken platter was great and I would recommend it for sharing. The indoor and outdoor space is great. Definitely make a reservation. The ding for this review was when we sat at the bar and t was pretty empty. Unfortunately, people that sat down about 20 mins later received our Fried Chix platter with really no apology. I know this was just minor glitch, but it was really annoying when we were sitting for a bit waiting on our food.

This meal can go toe-to-toe against any meal my wife and I have ever eaten. We had local oysters (Good oysters, not mind blowing but happy with them). The whole chicken dinner is where things get ridiculous.Chicken served 4 different ways and each way was the best way I've ever had as in: Fried chicken. Best fried chicken I've ever had, chicken breast. Best I've ever had. Chicken salad? Best I've ever had.Biscuits also insane. Just overall incredible and I'm picky AF.Also had:Dirty rice: Good. I'd love them to dial back the "dirty" a little bit but that's just a personal preference.Banana Pudding: Really good but you better LOVE bananas because you are basically eating a bowl of really well prepared bananas.

As often written about the food is quite good. However, I strongly recommend they remove the “family” from their restaurant name. This establishment, that is based wholly on fried chicken apparently “does not cater to kids”. That was the response we got when we asked if they have a kids menu. We didn’t ask for crayons, a kids cup or song & dance, simply a menu that may offer smaller portions. We knew they may not have a kids menu, we often eat out with our well-behaved 4 & 7 year olds in nice restaurants around metro Atlanta, Charleston & Savannah. However, at Brochu’s “Family Tradition” our family felt very unwelcome. Our 7 year old ate nearly a dozen overly priced oysters ($22 for 6 unspecified oysters) and our 4 year old enjoyed her chicken without incident. So again though the food was good, Leon’s Oyster Shop In Charleston & Table & Main in Roswell, GA are better, I strongly would caution against it if you have young kids.
