Poor hospitality from start to finish. We were offered seating at the bar, allowed to sit down, and then asked to leave moments later due to seating issues.

What followed was an awkward offer of a “special event” menu in a separate upstairs room — a situation that felt more like being shuffled around than welcomed.

The entire experience lacked professionalism, kindness, and basic guest awareness. Clear communication and a stronger understanding of hospitality standards are seriously needed.

We celebrated our anniversary at Common and it could not have been a better experience. The service is off the charts and the food is phenomenal. Please go to this restaurant. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed right around the corner from Common and found ourselves going there multiple times throughout our trip. During our stay we went to an alarming amount of restaurants, but Common is at the top of our best experiences! The service was great, we sat at the bar each time typically during happy hour or late night. The food quality excellent - my husband loved their oysters, I ordered the Savvy Salad multiple times, the crab caprese toast was delicious and the pineapple fried rice with Maui was INCREDIBLE! The service was always above and beyond. This was truly a gem of a discovery and a requirement to visit for future Savannah trips.

This was one of our favorite stops in Savannah. The Chef’s Tasting Menu was an incredible experience and something I’d highly recommend for an elevated night out. The atmosphere was perfect - artful, with intimate lighting that made the evening feel special. An experience we won’t forget!

Oh sweet happy hour!! Oysters on the half shell. Good waitress, then the shift change and good waiters. Wine was priced right. We will go back.

First time dining at The Commons, and I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was inviting, the service was top-tier, and every interaction felt genuine and attentive. From start to finish, it was a great experience that made the visit even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back and look forward to my next visit.

Our server Ryan was great. He clearly loves all the food and genuinely tells you how good each thing is. Everything we had was such good quality and well prepared. The price reflects the quality. You won’t be disappointed.

We ate here because looked great and it was open We did get in late, the vibe inside is awesome our waitress was very sweet and knowledgeable. We started with drinks they were good love the water in old wine bottle unique touch. Now the food we got the Porterhouse for two, soup, salad was great, bread was amazing(don't lose that pastry chef) the porterhouse looked amazing when it got the table, as we dug in we noticed it wasn't the temp we asked for which was medium some parts were still rare, the broccoli and sweet potatoes were warm not hot. We didn't order desert but she brought us anyway banana pudding it was great.

This was the best experience I have had in a long time. We are traveling with our infant son and was worried about the the accommodations due to the stroller. We arrived 10 minutes late to our reservation but they were so sweet and welcoming. They rearranged everything for us even though our party of 6 became 4 at the last minute. The food was phenomenal!😍 My hubby got the common tasting menu and it all looked amazing. They do accommodate for dietary restrictions because 2/3rds of the party had a lot of allergies. I can't say enough nice things about this place. I will definitely return!❤️

Common is a cozy restaurant that feels smart with a staff that will walk you through your choices. The Sommelier was patient and very knowledgeable. 9/10 eat like a foodie without all the snobbery.

Came down for a quick sit down dinner with my husband and we where greeted with a friendly and warm smile from the host. The staff works like a true team as I had a question about the bourbons upstairs and the server quickly answered and even brought me the by the oz menu. Our table server Chris was absolutely fantastic! His friendly attitude, positive energy and overall enthusiasm are one to emulate. We loved all of our food, from the fried green tomatoes, the Short rib ravioli and the short rib entree! Everything was fantastic! It is definitely a staple in our vacation. Thank you for a fantastic service Chris!

I hardly give bad comments, but this restaurant pissed me off. 1. The oysters have sand in it. I don’t think it’s worth it. 2. The gumbo is literally just risotto. 3. The waiter is kept push us when we order. This gave my bf a lot of pressure. We can’t eat too much so didn’t order enough and clearly he’s unhappy about that and said we order too little. After we added two more alcohol his attitude changed better, but still indifferent when my bf tried to make jokes w him compared to the table who ordered a lot.
