My best friend and I visited this location tonight using the drive-through. When my friend began placing her order, the employee gave her the total before she had finished ordering. After my friend let her know she still had additional items, the employee continued the order.

We ordered two #1 meals with specific modifications. The order appeared correct on the screen, and we proceeded to the window. However, we were handed only two drinks instead of three. When we mentioned the missing drink, the employee seemed confused.

After receiving all drinks, we pulled away to check our food and found that both Whoppers were made incorrectly. The location was not busy at the time. I considered going inside, but the receipt did not reflect our requested customizations.

This is not my first experience having issues at this Burger King. I genuinely enjoy Burger King and prefer this location over the one on Highway 80. While the food itself still tasted good, the service and order accuracy were disappointing.

Very slow. I can see the man making the sandwiches is a monster he's got the system down good. The older lady assembling the orders is severely backed up.

The lead here and the staff are so kind and helpful. Just finished ordering here inside with them after getting bad service from Port Wentworth.

Ordered online for store pickup at 445 pm Friday December 5th. Got there at 455 pm. The drive thru line was 10 cars long so we attempted to go inside and grab out food. We were told our order was drive thru pickup only. So, we waited in line for over 25 minutes. When we got to the window, we were told they didn't have root beer, despite it being available for order online. My double whopper with bacon and cheese/no onion was covered in onions and had zero bacon on it. It tasted so bad like onions that I couldnt even eat it. Our Texas Whopper ended up being an Impossible Whopper, which no one would eat. My wife's whole meal was missing (original chicken sandwich with onion rings). And every bit of the food we got (every sandwich and all the fries) was ice cold, because they wouldn't give it to us inside. There was absolutely no effort to keep our food warm until we got through the line. To be honest, our food shouldn't have even been put together until I got to the drive thru and let them know I was there. And this is the best of the two Burger King's in our area. The other one can't keep employees working long enough to stay open regularly. They've ruined two other orders for us in the past. I guess BK is no longer an option here in Pooler.

As someone with experience in the restaurant industry, I understand the challenges of fast food—staffing shortages, high turnover, and the pressure to move quickly. I don’t expect perfection. Mistakes happen. But I do expect that when errors occur, they’re addressed properly and promptly—by the staff in the moment, not only after a complaint is filed.

After an emotionally exhausting week, I visited this location hoping for a simple, hot meal. Instead, I was met with locked doors during business hours—while an employee looked directly at me through the glass and did nothing. I returned to the drive-thru, where I was asked to pull forward and wait. I sat for over 20 minutes while other cars were served. When I finally circled back, the employee casually said he had forgotten about me. The food I received was cold and inedible, and the experience left me feeling dismissed and depleted.

I submitted a formal complaint and was offered a $10 credit—barely enough to cover the original meal. That credit was never applied to my account, nor was a code sent. I was also promised a call from the franchise owner, which never came. The lack of follow-through and accountability only reinforced the sense that my experience didn’t matter.

Unfortunately, this isn’t an isolated incident. My family and friends have had repeated issues at this location—ranging from incorrect orders to poor service. I held off on posting this review out of respect for fellow restaurateurs. But the absence of meaningful resolution left me no choice.

If this location cannot consistently deliver the fundamentals of service and food quality, and if management cannot be bothered to respond when things go wrong, then it’s time to either bring in new leadership or consider closing the doors. Guests deserve better. And your team deserves the support and systems to succeed.
