On a short getaway to Savannah, I came across Byrd's Famous Cookies in the Plant Riverside district. I had never heard of these cookies before. I love that you can buy bags or visit their cookie bar to choose a variety of cookies to try. I filled one of the boxes with chocolate chip, praline, salted caramel, and key lime cookies. They were all fantastic. The cookies are small and so crispy, making them a nice bite. Highly recommend a trip to Byrd's cookie bar.
Cookies are great, especially the Georgia Peach and Key Lime Pie flavors. Very disappointing walking in seeing a bunch of kid employees gas lighting wearing masks, none which expressed being immunocompromised. It’s 2024, people!
Really neat store. They will give you as many samples as you want to try. We bought several to take home. You can also get a sampler box, but I like the tins. Family own and started years ago.
