Our family of four went here for dinner while on vacation in Savannah. We are patient with slow service bc we know there is a shortage of workers. What we can’t tolerate is lazy service, which is what we got. The restaurant was not overly busy, so there was no excuse for poor service. We waited forever to be greeted, then waited forever to get our drinks and place our order. Our food was delivered quickly. It was average food, but we did get it quickly. I asked for a refill of my tea, which never arrived. Our waiter never checked on us. We then waited forever for our bill. While waiting, I went to the restroom. While walking to the restroom, I saw our waiter sitting on a bench, vaping while looking at his phone. I went back to our table, told my husband, who went back there and asked for our bill and a tea. He finally brought us the items. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We got an alcoholic beverage to go from this place. No need to join the queue to wait for a table - just go inside to the bar and order your drink! We got a lovely refreshing peach cocktail which we were able to wonder around the market with. Perfect!

I was really turning in my head about getting the spinach stuffed chicken pesto pasta given the $22 price tag vs a sandwich which would’ve been much less. Despite the objectively high price, it sounded delicious, so I got the chicken pasta. It was definitely not stuffed… rather, it had 2 or 3 cooked spinach leaves hidden underneath the thin, almost dry chicken. I mean, it was a solid chicken pesto dish, but not for the price tag and the way it’s described on the menu. The peppers weren’t included, either. I think what I got on the plate instead was two sundried tomatoes. My husband’s shrimp and grits (keep in mind I’ve had MANY plates of that dish and have identified a particular style as my favorite) weren’t the best I’ve ever tried. I don’t know if it’s intended to be a bar at lunch time, and I know it’s not necessarily something management can control, but it was incredibly loud in the dining area at lunchtime when we went. I think this restaurant could use a bit of branding clarity; I personally imagine a “café” to be much more serene than what we experienced that day, but of course, everyone has their own ideas of what a café is. I personally got more of a low-country bar vibe while we were there.

Let's see - ordered the "Hot ham & cheese"....thought I'd mix it up by ordering it on a croissant. Light, flaky, & delicious, right? No. Stale bread (didn't know that it was physically possible for croissants to be hard enough to successfully skip across a lake or be used for hockey practice), ham was cold, and the "handmade roumelade" came in a micro cup that looked suspiciously like mayo. How do you f*** up a ham & cheese? Ask Cafe at City Market. Kids ordered "Margherita" Pizza - again, how do you screw this up? All the cheese slid off, sauce was cold, and kids are now crying. Should've gone to Mellow Mushroom or, basically, ANYWHERE else. Plenty of great dining options in Savannah - this is not one of them.

We were very hungry and looking for a quick bite to eat. We got on quickly. It's a busy place. It took awhile for our waiter to come around, She was very friendly. I ordered a peach margarita, BLT and potato salad. The margarita was awesome as was the potato salad. The BLT on the other hand was something to be desired. It was kind of a deconstructed sandwich. 2 sliced of bacon, little pieces of lettuce and one tiny slice of tomato. I asked our waitress of bring some more tomatoes. She did bring them, but by then everyone else was finished eating. I had to grab some lettuce from another person ( at our table) to finish off my sandwich. All told, I don't think I would go back.

Our family and friends are here one day when we did the trolley tour. It’s right near stop 9 and across from the prohibition museum. It opened at 11:30 so we were able to get a table for the 13 of us but it filled up quickly. Nothing fancy with the restaurant but food and service was good. I got the crab cake sandwich was was delicious. Not deep friend but you could taste the crab along with filler. I skipped half the bread so I tasted the crab. My husband got the Cuban sandwich which he said was okay as it had sliced pork versus pulled pork but felt there was plenty of meat. I highly recommend the peach sangria. Very refreshing on a hot GA day. You can add a shot of peach snaps or vodka with it too.

This was the single worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. We waited 15 minutes to be handed a menu and waited 30 minutes just to get water. We did not dine here at a busy time (3pm) and the restaurant was only about half-full. The food took an hour to come out and I had to request extra silverware since the set I received was dirty. This restaurant has a horrible sanitation score as well and should be avoided at all costs.

This is a definite no go Food here is terrible the service was horrendous. I am not kidding the food was inedible my husband ordered a meatloaf sandwich and got some mystery meat on 2 slices of plain white bread and ruffle chips see pic below. After being recommended to have the Cuban sandwich for my son and his wife it was so salty that you couldn’t eat it. Don’t eat here there are so many great places in Savannah to eat don’t waste your money

Absolute worst meal we have had ever. Pizza sauce tasted like it came out of a can. We ended up boxing up our food and giving it to the homeless people in the park after taking one bite of the meal after the pizza appetites. The table next to us said it was the worst experience & food as well. This was such a disappointment as everything else we have eaten this trip has been amazing.

Total find! While strolling around City Market, we decided to check out the Cafe. We sat outside and enjoyed the views. The menu was so varied that it offered lots from which to choose! Our waitstaff, Amar, was a huge assist in some insight into best sellers. We ordered the Grilled Cheese and Ribeye sandwich with a side greek salad. Great choices. The food came out quickly. The cheese was perfectly melted and ribeye, tender. Thoughout our meal, Amar made sure that we had what we needed. He was personable and professional. When we finished we made sure that we had bevs to go-chardonnay and peach sangria! Great job, Trysten! You have a wonderful team.

We had lunch there today. The food was very good and it was a cool place to beat the heat. I had the salad with chicken and shrimp.

I ate dinner here last week when I was in town for business. Enjoyed sitting On patio. Food just okay. The caprese salad I had was quite good but the crab cakes recommended by my server was not good and I only could eat a couple bites. My waitress was quite good and like most everywhere it seemed to be understaffed and since I was solo I tipped more than the usual 20% because I know as a waitress solo tables aren’t the favorite to wait on as it doesn’t bring in as much money. Definitely a good place for people watching on the patio in city market but food was just okay.

We came as a family only because everywhere else was fully booked. Pizzas were tiny and thin, no flavour, looked like a children's pizza, the meatloaf sandwich was appalling, plain piece of bread with some weird lump of meat. Couldn't sit outside because it wasn't 'their' section. Wouldn't recommend.
