I arrived mid-afternoon on a busy weekend, walking into the restaurant’s space at 224 W Saint Julian Street. The interior felt relaxed yet polished: wood-tones, softly lit, a mix of locals and visitors filtering through. There’s also a patio and bar area, which gave the place a slightly elevated casual feel. The location itself is a plus — being in the heart of City Market means you’re set right in the middle of downtown energy, good for people-watching or a convenient stop while roaming Savannah’s historic district.
I seriously suggest to pass by this location and not look back. We ate here only due to last minute necessity but hoped for a decent meal. We were however met with, at best, poor service, cold and bland food that had obviously been reheated in a microwave from the get go, and a mediocre atmosphere. The food was overpriced strictly because of the location I assume and we never had the same waitress twice in a row. The overall experience was terrible and there are plenty of other options that are way better with very little effort required to locate them.

We stopped here for lunch after flying into the Savannah Airport. This restaurant has a great location.......right in City Market, so it's close to shops & other restaurants. I had the Shrimp Salad Sandwich...asked to have it without the croissant and requested instead a French batard on the side. I also picked their Potato Salad as my side dish. The shrimp salad was good, but a bit too spicy for my taste. My spouse enjoyed his Market Street Chicken Salad Plate......chicken salad, fresh fruit, and a French batard. We both thought that the French batards were THE best! The host & server were really friendly ...not surprising, as have found that the "Southern Charm" continues to exist. If the weather isn't too hot or humid, try to eat outside on their porch.......it's nice to watch the people strolling through the Market Place while enjoying a meal.
Place looked ok, however……
The food was really bad, not sure if we came on an off night or what. But the Spaghetti was just tomato sauce on noodles…..and that’s it.
Pizza was undercooked and looked like it was microwaved.
Shrimp grits and greens……..ohhh lord…….
Grits were crunchy and felt like they dried out under a heat lamp, shrimp was super rubbery and tasted very old, and the worst part was the amount of salt they used. This is the only dish I have ever sent back in my life it was absolutely inedible. It was drenched in salt and that’s the only flavor you could taste like they tried to cover up the old shrimp taste was the amount of salt.
I have never eatin anything so salty in my life, no one at our table could eat it. Everyone that tried it gave the sour face and spit it out.
Server was great, place was clean and over looked nice but that food shouldn’t be served to anyone.

Mid food. Sad spinach and artichoke dip and crunchy pina coladas that arrived after we finished our food. Our waiter was new but good and chill.

food was not great, jordan was a good server and super nice. it was only his 5th day but he was super accommodating and friendly. manager seemed like he had no idea what was going on. typically when orders of food and drink take longer than normal it’s due to the restaurant being busy and backed up. this was not the case this time though. there was probably 7 people total in here and everything still took forever.

We had Jordan as a server and he was amazing! It was his 5th day and it was like he had been there for years. Polite, efficient, friendly, and respectful! Food was mid. Music playing was excellent, seemed clean enough.

The service from the waiter was good.It was his fifth day working at the restaurant. Upon arrival, we sat down at the table and we ordered. Pina coladas. It took them almost an hour or more to get the peanut coladas to our table after asking several times where they were, the bar person was also the manager and spent time on the phone and lollygagging with other employees, and did not know that we had ordered those cocktails. I had ordered a double alcohol in my Pina Colada, and he had no idea that they Where to have double alcohol. The manager/bartender was a very scruffy, dirty looking unprofessional. Bartender manager for that restaurant. The food was subpar, but please be aware when you go to this restaurant. Stay away from ordering the alcohol and the dirty looking manager bartender. I give it one star for bar service. 2 stars for food Jordan. The waiter was Good for his fifth day.

This is a very nice cafe in City Market in Savannah. Food was good and the service (Ashlynn) was great. Definitely a good place to eat while in Savannah.

Our lunches were good. The service was mediocre. I'm still waiting for a drink refill from Jaime. The atmosphere is nice, but the music is really loud.

We found the food here to be really pretty good here. We especially liked the potato salad. Also, the location is convenient within the city market. We'd recommend it for a quick bite. They appeared to have a pretty extensive drink menu but we did not try any.
Delicious well plated food! The chicken salad was plentiful and tasty. The salad with strawberries was a work of art and was so well liked that we had to return for a second time. The bread pudding was to die for!

OK, let me start off with the service was great. Our server offered tour guide options for things going on in Savannah..much appreciated. We had a peach sangria, which was nice. We were a little hungry, but not really so we opted for a BLT in the form of a wrap that came came out very meager… one slice of tomato and one piece of lettuce and three slices of bacon for a ridiculous amount of $$ our bad won’t do it again. We did get to listen to live music that was hosted by the restaurant across the street which was nice thank you Wexford! They were packed by the way.
