Somehow this Cuban from Lakeland found a Cuban cafe in Savannah. The owner was awesome! The food was amazing! Makes your mouth water, the pastalito melts in your mouth, and the cafe con leche makes you forget you’re in Savannah and transports you back to Miami.

So glad they opened up here in Savannah!! I am from Miami and the food is just as good or better than some Cuban places in Miami.The pac con lechón is to die for! One of the best I have had! The croquetas, the pastelitos, café con leche- EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS!Now I’m hungry!

Staying at the DeSoto and was delighted to find this little coffee and sandwich place nearby. Atmosphere is nothing fancy. Small, simple, clean. Best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. (I ordered El Jefe.) Pleasant service.

I grew up in Miami Florida and long for a true Cuban sandwich whenever I can. Rarely do I get the real deal. Casa Guava HAS the real deal!! I so enjoyed my jefe Cuban while visiting my daughter in Savannah! This restaurant is going places…hopefully they will add some sides like plantains in the future and get their liquor license. Delicious true Cuban fare!

The smell coming from the cafe as we walked by drew us in. We were not disappointed. We had the bistec sandwich and chicharrón and aguacate was excellent! We also had the guava lemonade. The service was quick and food was freshly made. There is a a few tables where you can sit and enjoy the spanish music playing that adds to the authenticity of the atmosphere. Loved this cafe.

Where do I begin. I moved to Savannah a year ago from NY/NJ area and have been looking for authentic Spanish food and came across CASA GUAVA Cuban Cafe! From cafe con leche to empanadas and cuban sandwiches this is the place to visit. Don't miss it if your in the town. All the authentic flavors that I grew up with in a setting that is quaint and comfortable. Will definitely be back.

We got there like 2:30pm they were so nice cause they had to shut down and they still accommodated our family of 4. Friendly atmosphere big thank you to the owner and Emily. The food was amazing hot, fresh, just amazing . Please go check them out. We didn’t even take a picture of the food that’s how good and delicious everything was. Definitely we will be back.

This place is absolutely unreal. I couldn't believe the quality of the empanadas and pastelitos here. All I've had so far is the chicken empanada, guava and cheese pastelito, and cafe con leche but I am blown away. I've never had empanadas like this, usually the meat is pretty sub standard (when I've had them elsewhere), not here, the chicken is marinated and seasoned to perfection.Go here and support this local business. These are the kind of places that enrich Savannah's character and they deserve to be recognized!I will be back.edit: After having the Caballo and the Pan con Bistec I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. One of the best restaurants in Savannah, hands down.
