Chinatown Buffet understands the assignment. Whether I’m dining in or loading up a takeout box like I’m preparing for winter, the food is always hot, fresh, and dangerously good. The variety is unreal—every lap around the buffet feels like a new adventure.
Dine-in is clean, well-run, and constantly restocked, which means no sad, empty trays. Takeout is just as solid—they do not play about portions. I leave with a box so full it barely closes, and zero regrets.
If you’re hungry-hungry and want options on options, Chinatown Buffet will absolutely take care of you. Come with an appetite… and maybe stretchy pants. 🥢😂

Who would have thought this nice buffet would be just down off of Bay Street in Garden City. I didn't have time to enjoy the dinner buffet so I ordered to go. A Shrimp Lo Mein, General Tso's chicken and two shrimp egg rolls. The eggs rolls were delicious they didn't make it home in the to-go bag. The owners are very nice and the staff is courteous.
The lunch buffet is under $15 and the dinner is under $20. The portions I received have set me up for several prepped meals for the week.
If you planning to get sea foods thats not the good place to go

The minute I walked in there, I couldn't eat! I was freaking out about how dirty the place is and the food looked and tasted old. However it does not stop people who possibly live in the area to eat there! Place is pretty popular and I feel terrible for giving this review, but maybe it will help someone (clean freak) like me out. Take care of yourself people!

Reviewing this restaurant in comparison with other Chinese buffets I have been to. This is probably the best tasting. Other buffets are mostly the same, and you can expect food fair for price. This one is around $15 for adults and drinks are around $2.50ish. I had a 6yr old and a 10yr old in my party and they received discounted price. I recommend this one if you want clean, fresh-tasting, and flavorful Chinese buffet options. The outside doesn't really say much, but inside is a hidden gem. This place has no sushi....thank you, for they are usually too cold and not so great.
