Lived up to its reputation! Delicious seafood cooked perfectly! My scallops were seared perfectly and melted in my mouth. I had the lemon caper sauce on the side which was a great choice. My companions raved about the she-crab soup, lamb chops, and filet. Chilean sea bass was excellent! Wagyu ping was very good. Shrimp ping was very tender with a nice char grilled flavor. Two skewers of 3 shrimp each. Very Attentive service from John, acoustics allowed us to carry on a conversation easily even though the restaurant was full. Desserts were average.

I ordered the she crab soup, which was a bit too creamy for my taste. My husband had the jumbo stuffed chicken wing, which was okay.

The service was great, though. Overall, I think this place is overrated.

Visited Chive Sea Bar & Lounge with my plus one last weekend, and it was a lovely outing. The ambiance is sophisticated yet relaxed — tucked into Savannah’s historic district, it blends vintage 1920s charm with a modern, coastal feel. Our bartender was amazing — friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. The oysters were delicious, and on her suggestion, we tried a blood orange martini, which was absolutely fantastic. I wish I could remember my bartender’s name because she was great, but I do remember she was from Texas — shout out to her! The overall vibe makes it an ideal spot for a date night or evening out — lively but still intimate. I’d highly recommend it.

In town for the weekend and had a fabulous dinner. Oysters are super fresh, some goes for the sea bass and sea scallops. Do not miss the tuxedo bomb. Absolutely delicious meal.

Wow!! The vibes of this place is why you would love to visit Savannah!!We were greeted on arrival and the entire staff acknowledged us. The atmosphere is definitely date night vibes and seeing how each person works in unison to make sure every customer is taking care of is an amazing experience. As you can see i wanted Lamb Chops and they were cooked to perfection and my wife enjoyed the Chilean Bass!!! The cocktails are not watered down and watching the bartender treat each order with such detail shows this place go beyond in customer service. We will definitely be back and encourage you to try it out!!

Amazing food! You can tell you're in a place that cares about what they serve and take great pride in the flavors and presentation.
We came for our anniversary, and were taken care of by John. He was helpful with the menu and made suggestions.
We had the she crab soup which is delicious and a must get. Chilean sea bass, it was buttery and cooked perfectly. The surf and turf was phenomenal. They gave us a champagne toast which was so thoughtful and a nice end to our meal.
I will say I didn't love the lemon and caper sauce- it was more creamy then I expected but the food is good without the sauce so I didn’t care.
And my husband doesn't drink, and they gave him ginger ale instead of champagne which we appreciate the attention to detail. He order the NA beer so they clued in. Just the perfect place.
