Jenn was a great waiter. Food was well above par. I would definitely visit Coastal 15 again.

Yeah I’d get on here and lie to. When you waiter don’t even know how the shrimp and grits comes. Waits 29 mins to ask how we wanted our shrimp. We was only ppl in there and how long did it take you for min grits? You will be closed in few months

went here on a whim for my birthday and I was so delighted with my experience! It was not too busy with it being a monday night. Everyone on staff in the hotel as well as the restaurant staff was very helpful and had great service skills. We all left with a smile and good energy. We ordered appetizers, sides, and entrees to share as well as cocktails and wine and we thought the total was very affordable for all that we ordered. The fried chicken we got was honestly the BEST fried chicken any of us in my party has ever had in our entire life.. We kept talking about it for hours an after, even the next day we still talked about it. The food was all fresh and hot and plated wonderfully. Over all a great night and a great dining experience! So glad we stopped by!

I planned a surprise birthday party at Coastal 15 for 12 guests at 7pm for 11/15. Called in and made a reservation for the private room. An employee by name of Ray, took and booked the reservation. He explained to me the cake cutting fee. I asked about decor and he put me on hold to ask a manager. He returned to the phone to inform me that decor was fine but I could not put anything on the walls. He took some contact info and told me I was all set and if I went over 12 guests, l need to inform a manager. I was sent a confirmation email and text for my reservation. I was told I was all set. I recieved another text message the day of the event as a reminder JUST to be called 4 hours before the dinner to be told that in fact, I didn't have a reservation. I didn't understand how this happened. The employee didn't offer any explanation on how a confirmed reservation just went away other than this booking should have went through sales. I'm on the phone frustrated saying, tell that to your employee who booked and confirmed this reservation. The employee offered no apology. She acted as if I did something wrong. She said she called to seek a resolution and gave me the option of tables set up upstairs by the bar or outside.

Please understand, this was for a private event and I sent out invitations, I had table decor to match the room, place settings, and people traveling from out of state for this surprise dinner. My decorator had a Jazz player coming to play happy birthday for this quiet surprise party.

Coastal 15 did put together tables upstairs right by the bar and in front of the DJ. We expected dinner but upstairs doesn't serve dinner so we along with out of town guests ate appetizers at 7pm. Some guests came, put on a great face and then left when I explained the menu I sent out wasn't an option anymore. It went from 12 to 6 guests. Instead of the porkchop or steak you had in mind, you can get truffle fries with your boneless wings.

It should be noted, the staff upstairs were awesome (Jessica and staff). They did all they could to make up for the "miscommunication" like informing us that upstairs doesn't serve sweet tea but eventually going downstairs to get it. They also provided two complementary bottles of champagne on the table. I made the best of it, told the decorator to cancel the performer, and I danced with the DJ, cut the cake (oh yeah, we had a cake made) and sipped an Arnold P.

Also, before calling to book the appointment, I filled out the "contact us" online form. I inquired about the room for a private event. Haley Hill, the food and beverage manager responded to the inquiry asking what date would I like the event, I replied back to her the same day informing her that, "I was able to call in and speak with Ray. I'm all set for the dinner".

The night of the event, we entered Coastal 15 and saw the private room was empty. When we left, the room was still empty. I was told half of the restaurant was fully booked months ago and to secure the small private room, you have to go through Sales and complete a contract...Yet, noone checked to see if their employee, Ray understood that when he booked and confirmed my reservation. I would still like to know how this happened. Yet, no manager has called to discuss how their team dropped the ball.

Coastal 15 - What a great experience! Everyone involved in our experience was friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable and ready to make dining a memorable occasion. Our food was absolutely the best. Salmon, scallops and the delicious creamed corn side was enough for two. We could not have asked for a better experience and will recommend and dine there again!

The food was very disappointing. Was skeptical but read many good reviews. Very basic hotel food, much better options in the city. The smash burger was equivalent to Wendys. My cat really liked the fish and chips, but I did not. Do not recommend.

I’m traveling for business and I have an ample daily per diem to spend on food for myself and have been looking out for nice restaurants - when I was seated, I was encouraged by the waitress to sit at the bar to avoid ‘taking up a table’, mind you the restaurant was empty. Mu server wasn’t much better, never checked on me and I had to ask for most things from the Bartender as if it was a counter self service. The mocktail was too sweet and undrinkable, tasted like cough syrup. The food was average at best. Don’t waste your time.

We chose Coastal 15 over several other restaurants in the area based on their menu and modern vibe. Our server Blake was so friendly, and took great care of us offering suggestions off the menu and also ideas for fun around the city after our meal. He went above and beyond, it was one of the highlights of our time in Savannah. Chef Luke even came out to meet us, and was so kind and welcoming. We loved our meal here (food was outstanding, truly) and loved the laid-back upscale vibe. The food truly could have been priced double, beautiful presentation and delicious! Thank you so much Blake (and Luke)!
