Friday night trivia and live music was fantastic as was the beer selection and food from Def Burger food truck located onsite.

Finding the brewery was very easy and there was plenty of room to move through the parking lot. (I had a camper in tow). The hosts (bartender and waitress on duty) were super friendly. The beer was good and if you are hungry there is a food truck (Def Burger) on site. For my Harvest Host user crowd: The brewery unfortunately closed at 5pm the day we came so we didn’t get to see this place in full swing due to us getting there after 3. After we explored the area (downtown super close by) we figured it was going to be quiet since the five o’clock closing, but when we got back I guess someone rented the space because there was a full blown social event/party with a DJ. The crowd itself was fine with the exception that some of its guests wanted to hang out in the parking lot directly behind our rig smoking and illuminating us with their headlights for few hours. The event ended around midnight. Be warned there is some sort of facility with heavy trucks behind the brewery and apparently they start early in the morning. Dispite the noise issues, it was still worth the stop.

I finally got to try Coastal Empire Beer Company’s Tybee Island Blonde, and it did not disappoint! This beer is light, easy to drink, and has a crisp, refreshing taste that’s perfect for any occasion. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a smooth and enjoyable brew. A fantastic local beer experience!

We discovered the place through Harvest Host. The bar tender and a few client present kindly made some suggestions of things to see in Savannah. Great selection of beer, 17 different ones the night we were there! We tried (only) 3, all equally excellent. Highly recommended!

Quality brewery! Had three beers while here; a hazy IPA, an American IPA, and a barrel-aged brown ale; everything was tasty for its style. Bartender was friendly and attentive during my visit. The place was filled with locals at the bar but the broader seating area left something to be desired. I’m not sure where you’d park if the main spots were filled up, but it’s definitely worth checking out. The place lacks pretension of any kind.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this place and the beer was great. I also appreciate the fact that Coastal is mega dog-friendly. But having visited here from Atlanta on two evenings, I'm wondering why two nights seem so bloody different from one another. Last night (Tuesday, May 14) the big guy serving was fantastic and the few folks here were having a rollicking good time: wonderful service!! But tonight (Wednesday, May15), though I returned for another good night, the dark haired young lady behind the counter is either on her laptop or chatting with her local friends only. Of The six total customers here, I seem to be the only unfamiliar face: perhaps I'm invible tonight as I don't seem to warrant even a please or thank you. Can this be the same place? Yes, I'll return if I see the big guy again; however, maybe I can get more attention down the street at Dollar General!!
