Meh food; worse coffee - especially the drip coffee.

I love their chicken salad and coffee options.

There are places you visit, and then there are places that quietly become part of your rhythm. Coffee Deli, tucked into the heart of Habersham, has long been the latter for me.
As someone who takes lunch there weekly, Coffee Deli feels less like a café and more like a familiar pause in the middle of life—an intentional slowing down. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted not just by the warmth of coffee, but by the warmth of the space itself. The walls, adorned with thoughtfully curated local art, feel alive—rotating stories from Savannah’s creative pulse. Each piece feels intentional, never loud, always inviting. It’s the kind of space that encourages you to look up from your plate and simply notice.
The Food
The food at Coffee Deli is deceptively refined—comforting at first bite, yet layered enough to reward attention. Their lunch offerings strike a rare balance between nourishing and indulgent, with fresh ingredients that never feel rushed or overworked. Whether it’s a well-composed sandwich or a thoughtfully prepared bowl, each dish feels crafted rather than assembled. It’s food that respects both the ingredient and the person eating it.
There’s a consistency I’ve come to rely on—week after week, the quality never wavers. Portions are generous without excess, flavors clean and balanced. It’s the kind of lunch that leaves you satisfied but still energized, ready to step back into the day rather than recover from it.
The Coffee
The coffee deserves its own moment. Smooth, grounding, and quietly confident—Coffee Deli’s coffee doesn’t try to impress with gimmicks. Instead, it delivers depth and balance. Each cup feels intentional, whether you’re lingering over it or carrying it with you as a companion through the afternoon. It’s the kind of coffee that invites conversation, reflection, or simply silence—whatever the day asks for.
The Atmosphere & People
What truly elevates Coffee Deli, though, is its people. The staff greet you with a familiarity that never feels forced, and the patrons—students, professionals, artists, longtime locals—are a living mosaic of Savannah itself. There’s an unspoken understanding here: everyone belongs. Conversations hum softly, laughter drifts in and out, and no one ever seems in a hurry to leave.
Coffee Deli embodies a distinctly Savannah elegance—unpretentious yet elevated, creative yet grounded. It’s welcoming without trying, beautiful without being polished, and soulful in a way that can’t be manufactured.
For me, it’s more than a weekly lunch spot. It’s a reminder that the city’s charm lives not just in its streets and squares, but in the quiet places where good food, good coffee, art, and community intersect. Coffee Deli doesn’t just serve Savannah—it reflects it.I eat there all the time amazing staff and sandwiches

The coffee, service, and atmosphere were all pretty good. I do not recommend the breakfast sandwiches. I purchased a chicken biscuit that was around $5 or so dollars. I received what looked like a mini biscuit with HALF of a chicken tender/breast inside. The biscuit itself was hard, and looked and tasted like it was made a few days ago. The chicken tender/breast did not even cover the entire biscuit. The sale by date on my sandwich was the 16th, which is 3 days past when I ordered mine. For a place that claims they have the best coffee and deli in Savannah, I was extremely let down. The price is not worth the sysco products you get.

By far one of the best coffee places in Savannah. The coffee itself actually taste delicious and isn’t burnt. Sometimes I did get a strange comment about how I like my coffee which, I wasn’t a fan of, especially when I’m paying for it. But lucky for them the coffee was so good, i ignored the strange remarks and kept coming back!

Very disappointing, I ordered a tuna melt . Cheese not melted. And the quality of tuna was not it for me. Sad bc location is great. There was also ice all over the floor without a “wet floor “ sign

Small coffee shop. Not many seats. Lots of people taking up tables using computers. Menu isn't really clear what comes with sandwiches. I found out it's morning. You have to get chips separate.

🧀*DILL PICKLE GRILLED CHEESE*🧀

best grilled cheese I’ve ever bought. Cheese pull to the heavens. Tangy pickle sauce. Buttery toasted crust.

I topped mine with a lil splash of that Texas Pete. 10/10

PERFECTION.
