This incredible speakeasy is located in the prohibition museum, serving classic prohibition-era cocktails. This place needs to be on your list when visiting Savanah.

There are 2 ways to get to the bar:
1. Through the museum, which is filled with prohibition era items, articles and décor – strongly recommend. There is a fee to go through the museum.
2. If you want to just go to the speakeasy and not the museum, there is a separate door located on the corner of Congress St & Jefferson St.

Cocktails were incredible, our bartender was amazing and upbeat even though it was super busy.

We booked the Cocktail Class for Nov 6, 2024, evening. There were 4 in our group, approx 15 in the class. The Speakeasy is very cool, and decorated appropriately, also includes news postings "of the day", all really setting the tone for the event. Blake was our bartender/ instructor, and he did an amazing job! Instructional, informative, entertaining, and engaging! We truly, truly enjoyed this event, from Blake, the drinks, the participation, making cocktails, and we 100% recommend the Speakeasy to add to your trip to Savannah!

We attended the cocktail class and really enjoyed it. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. It was fun getting to try out different drinks that we normally wouldn’t order.

Wow, this is what I came to Savannah for. The perfect prohibition bar. From the walk inside to the upstairs you will be asking yourself "where are we going and what is up here?" Upon arrival you will find the smallest of bar rails that makes you feel like you stepped back in time.

I rarely call people out by name in a review but Eric, my god, has invented the perfect cocktail. Ask him for the one he created or just see what everyone else consuming. Truly a master in the making and I completely enjoyed his service. Because of him Congress Street Up earns my coveted 5 start rating. Congrats on making my trip to Savannah worthwhile!

Great little place to stop in! Our bartender Blake did a great job recommending drinks and discussing what we might like. The drinks were incredible! The entire place was really neat to look around at while enjoying a drink. A cute date night out place while in town.

If you want a good cocktail, and want to enjoy a nice, laid back, bar this is the place to be.

Rheana was one of the most knowledgeable and nicest bartenders i have had recently. Rheana recommended some amazing house cocktails and made them to perfection. Definitely a memorable experience and I will be back in the near future.

My mom and I stopped in here our first night in Savannah to have a couple of classic cocktails. Jackson was a great bartender with lots of good advice on what to check out in the area. Cool, informative decor about the prohibition era sets the speakeasy atmosphere and is where a prohibition tour ends.
