this was the saddest cookout experience we’ve ever had. they were out of corndogs, and bananas. guy on the intercom was nice, the two women at the window looked absolutely miserable and had attitudes with us and each other. by far the skinniest hot dogs i’ve ever had (pictures included) ordered chicken nuggets and was given nasty cheese curds OH YEAH, how you gonna give us cajun fries with no seasoning? sad, let down, annoyed 30$ down the drain and cravings were not met.

A lot of choices on the menu. Usually get a burger or cheeseburger. Hush puppies as a side. Usually get to go. The dining area is clean and well lit but isn't decorated with anything other than Cheerwine memorabilia wall art ... And that's okay. This isn't fine dining, it's just good food, served fast.
It is a shame when you go to order hamburgers and you tell them what you want on it and pay extra for the stuff and it don’t even get added to your hamburger! The hamburgers I ordered did not taste good, was very dry and did not have what was requested on them! The person who handed me my food was not friendly! Cookout use to be so much better, but not any more!

The staff at cookout are fast-paced, pleasant, and seem to enjoy their jobs. The food is always hot and delicious, and the shakes are always on point. I especially enjoy the regular burger tray with cheese curds, a corn dog, and a banana pudding milkshake. I can't express how much I appreciate cookout restaurants opening in Savannah!
