I was expecting so much more but I guess this is just another Savannah tourist trap. It is an Italian restaurant that serves Olive Garden breadsticks. I was expecting nice, crusty Italian bread, nope. I ordered Cesar Salad it was soggy Romain (mostly the gross dark green ends) with a little bit of dressing and some store bought croutons. We had the calamari which wasn't bad and the mozz sticks had a lot of seasoning but they weren't bad. As for the dinners we ordered the lobster/shrimp raviolis and yes it's seafood but they were VERY fishy, Veal Parmesan and the veal was ridiculously crispy (overdone) and the chicken fettuccini was served in a bowl, my son couldn't even find the chicken. Oh and I ordered a side of meatballs and they were not edible. Something in them was nasty. I read previous reviews and was so disappointed. We won't be back. The only good thing was our server.
2 of the 4 people at our table didn't enjoy their meals very much, but the other 2 people did.
The food we ordered was mediocre minus. The Caesar salad dressing was on the heavy side and did not taste like Caesar, and the special of the day clam chowder was lumpy, heavy, and more like a potato stew. The muscles had a grilled flavor and were excellent. I think my mistake was not ordering pasta, which others were eating and looked good.
Charming Italian restaurant in Savannah. Nice cocktail selection. Bruschetta was just OK (tomato was served separately from the toast and mozzarella which I've never seen before), but the fettucini carbonara was very good. Excellent wait staff. We split the pasta and appreciated that they brought it in two separate bowls.
Good local joint. Historic building. Attentive service. Food was good. Gluten free options available. Reasonable prices.
Dirty from kitchen to floor. Splattered food on kitchen backsplash and the stove was covered in food that looks like it's been sitting there for quite some time. Dirty dishes sitting out and not getting cleaned up any time soon. The floor is so slippery from food and grease left on the floor for days and desperately in need of a good scrub. The food was mediocre at best and likely came from a frozen food box. Don't waste your money or time.
We used Open Table for a reservation and was allowed to be seated about 10 minutes prior to reservation time. Food and service was excellent.
The ambiance is wonderful. The food quality for Italian was not great!!! They messed up our orders quite a bit. They were not very attentive to our table. Did not check back. When asked if we could get items without ingredients it was not possible. Very disappointing!
Food is delicious!!!! 🤤 try the fried cheese as an app and the kabob for your meal!!! Sooooo good!!!!
In Savannah you always have to consider the tourist value vs regular restaurant value. The Check in wasn't smooth, it's terribly congested and nowhere to stand and wait. Even with reservations it was bit chaotic. Waited a while for initial contact with server. Apps and salads came at the same time. Then, when the food arrived, they seemed confused about how to put it on the table (there was no room). It was like they were waiting on us to clear our own table. I eventually picked up plates and held them while she out the new plates down. Was just awkward. Food wasn't bad, some was very good, some just average. Prices are definitely not bad. Overall a good value, but just a bit chaotic and rushed.

Did not find it exceptional. Food was ok. We were put at a table in the walkway area. We requested to be moved and then they put us in a window table where the window blind had fallen off. I had to wear my sunglasses during my meal because of the direct sunlight was in our eyes. I felt like I was a zoo exhibit sitting in that window table for everyone walking outside could look in and watching us eat. Probably will not go back. One and done.
Food and staff was amazing. The on going singing of happy birthday throughout the restaurant got a little much. Happened 4 times in our 1 hour dinner
This is an authentic Italian restaurant with an old school vibe. Very friendly and competent staff. Food was very tasty with generous portions.
This was our first visit and a bit of a disappointment. The place looked like it needed a redo. The pictures on the wall looked like the glass needed to be cleaned and the overall ambiance was dark and dingy. Our calamari appetizer was dry and contained a minute piece of calamari. It ended up tasting like a potato chip. Bug let down for the cost. The marinara that came with it was cold and tasted old. My linguine with shrimp was excellent and my husband had the lobster and shrimp ravioli. The ravioli was good but again, the sauce didn't make the mark. I was excited to try out the restaurant for the first time, but won't go back.
Highly recommend any dish with marinara! Their sauce is the BEST!!! “Table bread” is delicious garlic bread sticks that I couldn't get enough of! Service was wonderful! 10/10
