5 stars for what it is - cheap new England pizza. In other words solidly "pretty good" but cheap and fast and reliable. If you're in Berwick this is the place.

Sadly I chose not to order, so I can’t leave a review on the food etcI called this afternoon as I am now finished with sessions and craving pizza (I was going to drive from East Savannah to South 17 for this)I was asked to hold, I said ok and waited patiently for about 4-5 minutes.The lady comes back and answers my two questions and I decided to place a pickup order for 1 medium pepperoni.She apologizes saying, “I know I had you on hold already but I’m extremely busy and have to place you back on hold before I can ring this up.”I said ok.I waited but I had a call come in within that time period that I had to take (I am a small business owner) so my thought process is, take the call & let it hang up, I will call costanzo’s back, no biggie.If I had put her on hold to take the call, she’d come back to silence and figured I’d hung up anyway.So I take the call & let it drop costanzo’s call in the process….While I’m on the phone with my client the lady calls me back!I swap over to answer and she asks, “did you hang up on me because I put you back on hold?” — I proceeded with, “No… I had a call come in I needed to accept… (not that I should have to explain myself to a pizza shop or anyone else)She says, “oh ok because I didn’t understand why you would hang up just because I put you on hold. I am the only one here working and it’s very busy. I had to handle this stuff before I could put in your order to get payment in to make sure you’re going to pickup what you order. Do you still want to order?”I said, “after this? No ma’am, not now.”Her voice was showing she was frustrated and on the defensive with me and explaining why she called my number back.I absolutely was not going to order with this type of behavior… I’m still in shock how unprofessional this was handled.And if she was truly the /only/ person working a whole pie shop…1) kudos to you for your hard work! Respect.2) NEVER think that that behavior is acceptable business practices- just let it go and keep working.I would have called back to place my ?order after I was done speaking with my client.

I love pizza & try various places in every city I visit throughout the year. I ordered an 18” pepperoni & cheesy bread from here as takeout & both were absolutely delicious. The cheese bread was the size of a 12” pizza and a bargain for the price & my kids devoured it in minutes, which says a lot cuz they will not eat things they don’t like. They LOVED IT. The pepperoni was too notch including the sauce, cheese, & crust.They included marinara sauce & garlic butter sauce with the cheese bread which was very delicious. Go, you won’t be disappointed.
