Interesting restaurant experience. You think it's informal, but it's surprisingly low country upscale for being a diner/restaurant. We were happy with both the service and the food. I would have liked a vegetarian choice for soup, but my caesar salad was very good. My husband had the soup and sandwich and was happy with both. The crab soup was thick and creamy. It was very tasty. The sandwich was fresh and the bread excellent
Our first visit here was terrific. Our server, MJ, was very helpful and cheerful. We ordered the crab puppies as a starter. My husband and I shared the seafood plate that included shrimp, crab and flounder. It was delicious and enough for two. MJ encouraged us to try the dessert special carrot cake. I have never had any carrot cake that was this good (and large). We both recommend Crystal Beer and you’ll have a special experience if MJ is your server!
