We were in town for a bachelorette party and wanted to try Donatos. I called a week before we arrived and confirmed delivery to our airbnb. When we arrived in Savannah, I called Donatos to place our order and the gal I spoke to (Heaven) remembered me from my phone call a week prior - thoughtful touch #1. Our order took a very long time to be delivered and I called the shop to figure out what happened. They reported a problem with the address, apologized profusely, and refunded the order - thoughtful touch #2. The owner, Adam, had the order remade and hand delivered our pizzas - thoughtful touch #3. The pizzas arrived steaming and hot and were sooo delicious. Despite the order initially taking awhile to receive, our experience has been nothing but pleasant. 10/10 would recommend Donatos.

Horrible pizza. We ordered the margarita pizza and this is what we received. Will absolutely never be back. Probably the worst pizza I have had in savannah. Also 21$ for this is offensive

I love this style pizza. The toppings are from edge to edge. Across the thin crust. Sometimes it’s charred on the bottom and almost salty. I like to get two pizzas. Pepperoni and a deluxe. I can’t wait to go back.

Pizza is fantastic and this place is cool. Subs are decent but the wings are better. The manager Michael took great care of us and you could tell the employees liked working there

We were excited to get a new pizza place on the islands, and decided to try this out. Ordered 2 pizzas, 1 large and 1 medium. Upon arrival at the pickup time, they were busy so I waited my turn. After the the other customers were served, my order still wasn't ready but I was told it was in the oven. At this point I overheard them say they made a large by mistake, but rather than apologizing for their mistake and sending me with the order, they put my I've pizza in their hot window and remade the medium while I stood there waiting. Some people may think this is reasonable, but I worked in pizza for years and this is not how they should have handled the situation. It was $45 dollars. We won't be ordering donatos again.

The food is good and the staff is very nice but I advice not working here if you have a life outside of working at a $10 pizza joint. The store owner fired me bc I put my doctor appointments in front of my shifts even though I told him and the GM I couldn't work those shifts. Fired!!!....Over going to my doctor instead of making pizzas! Very unprofessional because they didn't even consult with me until after they terminated me!? Worst pizza GM and store owner ever!

Parking: Located with other places so park8ng is tight.

Ordered a chicken caprese salad and it had no Roma tomatoes and no mozzarella! How is that considered a caprese salad???

This was our first time ordering from Donato’s based upon recommendations from our neighbors. We ordered from t the online menu which was a big clunky especially for adding or subtracting options. But it was easy to set the time of delivery and make payment. Promptly at the appointed delivery time, I received notification that the pizzas were delivered at the door. However, when stepping outside to get them there were no pizzas. I called the delivery driver and explained the issue, and he responded to say that someone wrote the wrote house number on the delivery tag. He returned about 15 minutes later with our pizzas. Although the boxes were luke warm, the pizzas themselves were much less than warm after opening the box. We were very pleased with the flavors of the pizzas, and not being vegan or gluten-free eaters, we noticed a chewiness about the crust of the vegan pizza.Overall the pizzas were very good, and would be a very likely choice for our pizzeria food choice, but we will not choose delivery until the kinks are pressed out of that system.
Vegetarian options: We only got the Greek Vegan pizza because we had a special offer
Unreal. Attempted to order online and was unable to so I called in an order. When I arrived I was told it was not ready. I sat there for 20 min. Then when back to the register to find out they do not have my order. And no I did not call the waters store… why this wasn’t addressed when I first walked in is even more ridiculous. Every customer in there seemed annoyed.
