Soooooo saw a similar review on yelp about Xmas dinner and wanted to review it too. Waited for my take out order for three hours. :/ I noticed there were bags of takeout food sitting out on a table that hadn’t been picked up for two of those hours ! When the restaurant got extra busy, a few of us watch the staff take the old food to the back, microwave it and plated it to serve to guests. This is not sanitary!!!!! Microwaved leftovers that were sitting out!!!

Once I received my food it was good thank fully but they definitely took too many orders than they could handle!!n I think they made a good choice to pause pickup orders around 830pm bc they were way too busy and the line behind me kept getting way longer .

We ordered for pick up on Christmas with an estimate wait time of 25 minutes. When we arrived, they had us pay after waiting 20 minutes yet we did not get our food for another 2 hours without updates on the delay. There was a long line of people and most of us waited over 2+ hours. The person responsible for getting takeout orders was incredibly inefficient. There were definitely many hard workers there taking care of the people dining in but unfortunately that takeout person tainted the experience. The food was not good, there was no sauce that we requested so it was dry and bland. It would’ve been nice if they updated us along the way, we understand things may be delayed on Christmas but I would not recommend getting take out here on any occasion.

Edit for clarity: I am in NO way upset that there was a wait on Christmas. The frustrating part is being told your order is ready in 25 minutes, and actually waiting for 2 plus hours without any updates. Those who politely asked for updates on their food got absolutely zero response from the person overseeing takeout orders. Even just a simple “the kitchen is backed it may take another 2 hours” would’ve been perfectly fine and I would’ve waited at home without any issues. Everyone waiting for takeout (including myself) was incredibly kind and gracious towards the staff and one another. Even folks who waited over 3 hours were very kind towards the staff. We saw multiple people eating in the restaurant who were demanding things from the kitchen (more plates, more spoons, more napkins, more lo mein) and who were extremely rude to the staff. That was not the case for anyone waiting for takeout. Please do NOT mistake this review for being “”angry about a wait on Christmas””. This review is simply regarding inefficiency, lack of communication, taste of the food and the order being incorrect after waiting for many hours. As mentioned previously, thank you to the staff members who were doing their job efficiently and working so hard on a holiday.

Went on Christmas still delicious. Was absolutely busy, it’s a holiday. People leaving bad reviews because they were busy on a holiday is absurd. If you’re unhappy with a Christmas rush stay home and make your own food. Have some patience and grace for people working for you on a holiday. Know what you’re getting into prior to just getting angry at someone serving you.

Edit to add: Anyone leaving a bad review on a holiday, first of all shame on you. Secondly, you need to understand that restaurants get busy, so plan your day better, be patient, or stay home and cook for yourself. The workers maybe didn’t anticipate being so busy, if you had to wait long for your order maybe plan differently next year but don’t take it out on the restaurant, they did a phenomenal job and the best they could despite the chaos. Be thankful they were even open on a holiday, and stop being so entitled. Go on a non-holiday and give them another chance. E-Tang is amazing.

Original review: We have to give a huge compliment to everyone on the E-Tang staff!! We planned on having a late Christmas lunch at E-Tang today with some friends and family and I managed to make a reservation, thankfully, because we vastly underestimated how busy they would be on Christmas Day. There was a line out the door of people waiting for tables and waiting for takeout orders, and major major props to the staff because they handled the chaos so well and so efficiently. We got sat as quickly as they could get us a table and food came out pretty quickly and was absolutely delicious. The servers were very attentive with our meals and refilling drinks. There were numerous larger tables full of people and the servers did a phenomenal job tackling every table. This was our second time here and we love the food and atmosphere and friendly staff so much. We especially love the soup dumplings and hot oil wontons. We will absolutely keep coming back, and appreciate all of you!!

Ordered General Tso Chicken. There was no chicken just fried balls of dough, almost $25 for the takeout order. If it's not made we'll why put it on the menu

The food is delicious but the service is horrible. I waited 2 and a half hours for food and when I told the waiter about it , he shrugged his shoulders as if he didn’t care . He told us to leave because they were busy.

Not satisfied!!!

General Tsos chicken has been hard as a rock for two nights in a row. Can’t even stab a fork through it. Messed up an order aswell. To be charging these prices for this to happen is laughable

Food was ok (if you like loads of msg) service is horrible. They clearly lost half the tables order, we had to ask about it 3 times and instead of comping things they brought out another appetizer… never again.

We ate on a busy Monday night, place was packed but they figured out how to seat us quickly. Food was phenomenal. Entrees were taking awhile to come out, but not an outrageous delay, and manager comped us two drinks on the house with no prompt. Good people, good food, nice scene, we’ll definitely be back.

Food: Omg, my favorites are the dry hot pot potatoes and the cold spicy chicken! I never thought cold spicy chicken could be this tasty—it’s savory and sweet, not so spicy, and went so well with rice!

I’ve been craving dry hot pot so much since moving from Cali! It’s super authentic and definitely worth trying, but heads up—the intestines might be a bit tough if you’re not into them 🤔 The shrimp soup dumplings are also my absolute favorite 😭!

Customer service: I booked a reservation for 7:00 pm through phone but can still be waiting for about 6-10 mins when arrived because they were so busy. The servers and owner are nice and friendly.

Oh my goodness!!! There are so many great highlights about this restaurant. First, location is easy to find. It's in a cozy little spot tucked in between other businesses. The front entrance into the restaurant is a little narrow and tight. However, this place is a quaint, cozy, and very friendly eatery. Our wait time was less than 30 mins, but I can definitely see it can get very busy here. There is a bar area where you can sit and eat, booths, or table and chairs. The restaurant is an open concept. You can pretty much scan the whole restaurant from the front door. Our waiter suggested a few dishes that we tried. He was awesome and very attentive! Everything tastes authentic and flavorful. I truly enjoyed the meal! My kids and husband even enjoyed the food! Now that's an A+ in my book. We will definitely be back! Next time, I will take pics. I was so satisfied that it had piqued my interest in the other two locations. I will be visiting those as well.

Vegetarian options: Beef with bamboo #58

Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere for families with children.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly in my opinion.
